That is an old Japanese spotter scope. I don't know if I would spend any time trying to fix it Back about a year ago they were selling for $35 dollars or so.

My 22 mag 4x32 rifle scope not stay on zero inspite of tight mounting .

I don't know what you have done already, but, remember there are two areas to tighten. The scope rings to the scope mounts and the rings themselves around the scope.
you have hopefully forgootten one step.

If not, take it to your local Gun store and I'll bet they won't charge you much if anything for looking at it.

How do I adjust the reticle for a Simmons Mag 4X32 scope. The reticle is not straight up and down and level parallel.

the reticle should be level if its not you need to turn the scope body round in its mounts till it is level and then nip the scope caps up

Simmons 8x32-44ao rifle scope

Is that the "Prairie Master"? I think Simmons is pretty uniform in that range of scopes--elevation adjustment should be the top dial and windage is on the side. The zoom locking ring should be in front of the eyepiece, with the zoom ring just forward of that.

You can download a generic Simmons scope manual from the Simmons site at this link: http://www.simmonsoptics.com/downloads/manuals/archive/HSI_Simmons%20Generic%20Scope%20Adjusting%20Instructions.pdf

Simmons scope that will not stay on target

Mount the rifle with the scope and make a mark on the backstop right where the crosshairs are pointed at

Shoot several times, several shots will surley jolt the scope some.

If the crosshairs have moved much past your mark then this would indicate the scope is the issue.

If the crosshairs are still pretty well centered to the mark, its not the scope.

If at the same time your grouping looks terrible, and your scope still is on the mark, and the gun is WELL mounted, then the issue is with the accuracy of the rifle.
Make sure the rifle is mounted good for this to ba accurate .
Hope this helps

Simmons Prohunter Model 517710 won't shoot a group

You SHOULD send it back. There is something loose inside the scope. Even the worst Simmons scope will get you to 2"-3" group. Also, when you replace it, you might want to consider their (or Nikons) shotgun scopes. They are built to with stand the power of the higher centerfire calibers and magnum shotgun shells.
