I have a scanner from Radio Shackeserial number C073068 I do not know how to program no book. I do have the numbers for my police & fire that I want.

theres one on ebay for sale but you can get help from a radio shack personel..

Thanks I solve the problem by going online to the local police dept. in my area and located the channels I needed' then program the scanner.

Radioreference.com. Go to their data base, Click on your state then your county. It will give you all police/fire ems frequencies.

1. Press Manual 1 Manual
2. Enter a Frequency
3. Press E
4. Press Hold (This will advance the scanner to the next channel)
5. Repeat steps 2 through 4
