Dishwasher when i put it on the program is stuck it just set there humming

Remove the dishwasher drain line from the under sink connection. Direct that end to a bucket and run the drain option on the dishwasher.

1. Does water drains to the bucket. Then your under sink hook up to the dishwasher is clogged. Clean it with a screw driver.

2. No drain water comes to the bucket then

2.1 When on drain do you hear a humming noise. If yes then your drain motor working. That means mostly your dishwasher drain line clogged.

2.2 If humming noise is like a fan (impeller) running then drain line clogged.

2.3 If humming noise is like a small struggling to run. Then something stuck in the drain motor impeller.

the first thing any dishwasher does is drain, so if its humming instead of the normal noise there will be a piece of glass or something similar stuck in the drain pump it will need to be removed and cleaned out

If there is water in your inlet and on switch of program there is water coming into the washer, it is possible that the Hum you are hearing is the inlet valve/pressure pump that is not activating.
It might be getting warm if humming for a while and you can check this out. Remove the unit and checkit out onthe table by applying voltage for the water flow or pumping. Dirt accumulation can make it stuck and if not replace .

If you are getting an humming noise then Sounds like the water circulator pump is stuck. The motor tries to turn it (humming noise), but cannot. So a breaker trips (self reset). Not claiming this is actually the problem, but this is what the motor turns.

Basically, the wash motor is jambed. Gain access to it and turn the pump shaft. If jambed, it will then loosen up and function again. If it is free to turn, the capacitor has then short circuited.(replace the cap).

I removed the dishwasher and put fill hose on mains pressure. (30 to 45psi or 2 to 3 bar). Working ok now. May be issue with water pressure switch ?

Sounds like a motor problem. Behind the chopper is an access to the impeller, try turning the impeller or the chopper blade and see if the motor will rotate. If it doesn't, then something is stuck preventing the motor from running.

see other problems listed ,other machines have similar problems one chap suggests that the FLOAT SWITCH is stuck or faulty causing the inlet valve to read as full so continues program...

the start switch in the motor is probably bad,it could also be the motor relay.if you can get to the motor run the unit and while it hums try to turn the motor.it also could be something is stuck in the motor let me know.

all programs start with drain put a little water in by hand, start a program and see if water comes out of the drain hose. things to check are if drain hose is plumbed in under sink, check no blockage in this area. if drain hose not running, then listen carefully for a low humming noise. if there is, this indicates a foreign object stuck in drain impellor. if youhave a multimeter, check if there is power to the drain pump
