SOURCE: xbox live cant connect mtu failed

My guess is that it has something to do with the Xbox live server maintenance. They should have the servers up and running right now if they are on schedule. I'm assuming they're still down because I tested the connection during the day on Monday and the MTU failed like it does now. Hopefully things will be working when I get up in the morning.......damn Microsoft lol

SOURCE: Corrupted profile on XBox 360

I have heared that if you just delete the profile, just the profile, everything will be just fine (note: This only works if your profile is on xbox live).
Just go to memor, then go into the saving device the corrupted profile is on. Then "click" on the botton that says profile and delete the corrupted profile. Remember; the profile will be a small save and not taking up most of your harddrive, look for something with MB size, not GB size. When you have done this, go to "recover gamertag" and do so for the profile you just deleted. After all this, your game saves and achivements should be present and working.

SOURCE: how can i recover lost save game data from xbox live profile?

This used to be possible. Xbox used to offer this service but you could only do it twice a year or something like that. Now they don't do it anymore. The only way is if u had the old hardware and a USB stick or Transfer cable.

If you've already done that, after activating your LIVE account, if you go to my xbox and select your avatar. Then go right one there should be a button saying "manage account." Select that and you are in account management.

Battlefield bad company 2 cant create EA account?

Guys - here's the deal. doesn't matter what your parental settings are. If you used your birthday day when creating your xbox live gamer profile, which can't be changed even by microsoft xbox live support, and your under 18, then your out of luck. Call xbox live supports 800 number and explain the problem. you will eventually talk to a supervisor and they will offer a 6 month free subscription to xbox live which you use to create a new profile (with an adults date of birth). You can use your old profile for other game until it runs out, then let it expire.

My ebox just deleted my entire profile

Just use the "Recover Profile" option on the dashboard.

NOTE: This only works if your connected to Xbox Live and the profile has been recently Synced with The Xbox live Servers So No Live=No Profile Recovery.
The Recover Gamertag function is on the same side bar where you login to a profile..

After your Xbox starts hit the Xbox button on your controller and 'Recover Gamertag from Xbox Live' should be right under 'Create New Profile'..

Once you select 'Recover Gamertag from Xbox Live' it will walk you through the steps required..
    or
I would suggest you to visit the forum and discuss your problem http://forums.xbox.com/

I have just got xbox live for my 360 and i created a new profile for it not realising i could not use the profile i already have, can i switch them over so i can play live with my old profile? please

I have the same problem, i got my xbox 360 elite ^^ and didnt get live so this means you have to create a new account so i ended up with one offline account and one online, i think this is a problem 'cause lets ssay you got 10,000 gamer points on offline and none on online, makes you look a bit of a twit or bad player so there is a way of doing this but i think a fast and maaybe an enjoyable way of spending some times at weekends is replaying all the games then in saying that, you can buy a portable memory thing and copy everything onto that then sign onto your xbox live account and copy everything back onto your hard drive, a link for help about this problem is:
    http://www.xbox360forum.com/forum/game-tips-cheats-help/65220-how-do-you-move-saved-games-another-profile.html

Just copy that into your web thingy and then read it, note: the first option doesnt work but i think the second one does, never tried it myself tbh but it should

    Gamer Profile

Once you connect your Xbox 360? video game and entertainment system, you'll be ready to start using it. Initial setup is simple: set your default language, create your gamer profile, and you're off and running. The first time you turn on your Xbox 360 console you'll be prompted to set a default language. Use your controller's left stick and the A button to select a language for your console. Note You can change language and other console settings (including time, audio, display, and automatic shutdown) in the System area of the Xbox Dashboard. Once you've set your language, you're ready to create your gamer profile. To start playing games as quickly as possible, choose Create an Offline Profile. If you already have an Xbox Live membership, choose I Am a Member of Xbox Live. If you're not yet a member of Xbox Live but know you're ready to join, choose I Want to Join Xbox Live. Note To access Xbox Live, your Xbox 360 system must be connected to the Internet, directly or through a network, with a high-speed (cable or DSL) connection.
