Hi Anita,

A quick search of Google for an answer to my question "Turning Auto Off on a Fisher and Paykel Oven"
With little more detail from you like model and if AUTO Off as with Timer I could pin point it, i..e.be more accurate.

So if my guess is correct than it should be on the Analogue/Analog Timer Knob OR if electronic somewhere on the keypad, electronic touchscreen? pad....meaning set it to MANUAL....have you tried that?

Cheers

I did the auto self clean on the oven yesterday and today when I turned the oven on to preheat the auto self clean light is flashing how do I fix it

Sometimes the extreme heat from self clean cycle causes electronics problems. Make sure self clean is turned off and door lock is fully disengaged.

We had a power cut, now I can't get the oven to work the auto light is flashing but when I turn the knob for the oven it won't come on.

You need to reset the oven from auto to manual setting.
This is done by pressing 2 or more buttons on the timer at the same time to reset it, until you do this, the oven will not work

Try turning the oven circuit breaker off for a minute then back on. Reset the clock and see what happens.

Electric oven will not switch on. No heat, no fan. There is a timer display that is counting up and has the word AUTO showing. The gas hob works normally. How can I turn the cooker on?

Hi. You probably have to switch the oven onto manual control. Auto would turn oven on at a preset time. Is there a button with a hand symbol on it? This might be manual. Timer should show clock when in normal manual operation.

Oven won't work after cleaning

Molly,
"Auto Clean" means that the control thinks the door is locked. If you can open the door, it's obviously not locked. You can try turning the power off at the breaker. Leave it off for 20 minutes or so. See if this resets the control. If not, the high temps in "auto clean" may have fried one of the monitor switches on the door latch.
Let us know what happens.

Oven wont turn on due to auto mode.Cannot cancel auto mode.

If you have followed instructions properly, and cannot get it off auto. then you will need a new timer, alternatively, the timer can be bypassed
