How do i upgrade ram on acer c720 chromebook

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and select Drivers and Manuals (second line in the second column "Service"). Then use the drop-down menus to select Category = Netbook, Chromebook, Series = Chromebook adn Model = C720 . Expand the Documents section then click on the Download button on the right side of the page on the User Manual line. yes, most people end up doing a powerwash several times before the wifi or wifi drop problem gets resolved on these.

but yes it can be setup without internet.

If there is no trap door on the base of the unit then it will involve dis-assembly of the unit which would also need a service guide only available to Acer techs, or you can send in to Acer for them to be able to carry out the upgrade.
