Reset component settings.
Usually, the problems you encounter with a Mitsubishi
projection TV may be resolved through the resetting to its factory
settings. If you experience inaccuracies in the color, reset the
television's PerfectTint/PerfectColor capabilities. Simply press the Menu
tab and then highlight "Perfect Color" using your right key arrow. After
this, press "Enter" and then "Reset" in order to reset to factory
settings. If you have audio / video problems (VCR or DVD player), simply
press "Menu" and highlight the "Reset" option.
Reset television controls. In case you cannot fix your TV via its
component settings, there are other ways of resetting. Just select "Menu", key
in "1, 2, 3", and then press "Enter." In doing this, the TV's
manufacturer's specifications will all be restored. If your TV's power system
does not function, you should perform a complete system reset. You can do this
by clicking on Reset System button located at the TV's control panel. Your
television will be turned off and then a green light (LED) will quickly flash
for approximately one minute. Once the light has stopped flashing, your TV
should immediately turn on.

I had this problem with the LC320EMX, after extensive searching on the internet, I found a solution. The TV has entered some kind of test pattern, to escape from the flashing color test pattern do the following: While the screen is changing from red, green,Blue,White, & Black, and is Unresposive, Take your factory remote, Press the up arrow, then the down arrow, then (ON THE TV) press the power button. Turn the set back on and it should be functioning properly. (BTW: the set gets into this test pattern if you press too many buttons on the remote, or if you use a universal remote with the wrong code)

Go to the last page of troubleshooting in the manual and perform the system reset procedure. Basically hold the Wega "arrow up" as you manually switch the TV off. It will automatically switch back on and reset. I had only vertical colored lines on the screen, with audio but no response to any remote control functions. The rest worked perfectly.
The first thing to try is to reset the TV. It seems it may be locked in a parental mode or something. If you have the manual try to find a reset function. Otherwise you'll need to post the model of the TV since there are many configurations.
First, unplug power cable from the back of your TV. You will notice the flashing light is still flashing. Don't worry, go to the Second step.
Second, keep pressing on the POWER button, located on the panel at the top of your TV, to shut off your TV. This will stop the flashing light from appearing.
Third, Plug the power cable back onto your TV
Fourth, press the POWER botton ONCE, using the same button used in the Second step to turn your TV back on.
Fifth, you will see the POWER light comes on, as normal.
Sixth, using your remote control, press the green button to turn on. Your TV should work as normal.
