No picture on Lorex camera keep getting invalid format

unlikely to be from a virus attack but from a failing hard drive
formatting the hard drive will totally remove all data and operating systems so ensure that you have the ability to reinstall the operating system for the security system
right click on that hard drive , click on properties , click on formatting disc
press ok and everything will be gone

Could be the card you are using is corrupted( happens if you switch off camera whilst it is writing to card, OR the card has not been formatted on the camera....OR it is full.you should always format on the camera not on an computer.the card has to be FAT 32 in cameras native format file size.one other possibility is the card has the write protect tab on which will prevent any media being written or deleted from it.

You destroyed the camera. Lorex won't cover that under warranty either. Since you didn't use the power adapter that came with the camera you'll have to get another camera and connect it correctly

You need to format the hard drive using the built in formatting utlity. Did you replace the hard drive in the DVR maybe?

The most likely solution if your camera can read the card but the computer can't, is that your card reader is not compatible with SDHC cards, but only SD cards. Look for the "SDHC" logo/legend on the reader, and if you don't find it, purchase one that does have it. hello try changing the picture ratio...what i mean is try 16.9 widescreen or 4.3 ledder box the tv is tryn to produce a pic bigger or smaller than what you have keep tryn different picture ratio's

Some notebooks cannot read SD capacities of 4GB and above. The workaround is to use an external SD card reader.
