For a Partner 18D phone the process is a little different depending on the VM version you have. In general you press Intercom 777(gets you into voicemail) enter your password(default is 1234 or 123456). This is where the various system commands change. Listen for Mailbox Options or Greetings option. Press that button and you can setup, change or delete greetings.
- To Access Supervisor Options:
- From main menu, press 6 for Supervisor Menu
-Press 2 for Routing Box Administration
-Enter Box Number that you are changing / recording
(Main Day Greeting is box 800, Main Night greeting is box 801)
-It will repeat the number you entered and prompt you to press 1 if its correct
-Press 3 to Modify
-Press 1 for Greetings
-Press 2 to Record Greeting
-Press 1 to replay current greeting or Press 2 to record greeting
-Press * (star) for current greeting
-Record greeting.
Press and hold the "1" key to call into your AT&T voice mail.
Enter the default passcode (your seven-digit telephone number--not including the area code) using your keypad.
Press "4" to access the "Personal Options" menu. Press "2" to enter the "Administrative" menu, and then press "1" to change your passcode. Enter the default passcode, and then enter your desired passcode. Listen to the playback for verification.
Wait until you are returned to the main menu. Press "4" for "Personal Options," and then press "3" to change your greeting.
Press "1" to change your "No Answer/Busy" greeting, or press "2" to change your "Extended Absence" greeting. Follow the voice prompts to record your personal greeting (this replaces the standard "answering machine" recording).
