On Windows 7, you need to press the "Print Screen" or "PrtSc" key first, the screenshot will be copied to the clipboard, then you can open Paint and press "Ctrl + V" to paste it on the board. Lastly, click the Save button to save it as an image file.
On Windows 8, you just need to press the "Print Screen" key, the screenshot will be automatically saved to the Pictures library.
Sometimes, you may need press "Fn" + "Print Screen" keys together to activate the screenshot function.
Also, you can use Windows built-in screenshot utility---Snipping Tool. Start > Accessories > Snipping Tool.
