Just done a wash with no problems. Loaded another and shut the door and switched on, the door lock light is now not coming on and the mains light is flashing slowly.....help please!!
Try pushing the door in as I suspect the door interlock switch is stuck, if this dosen't work you will have to replace the door interlock switch which can be purchased from Hotpointspares.co.uk and is reasonably easy to fit as can be seen on YouTube .

assuming that you didfi not unwire ther door lock, the problem is probably just that the door seal just needs bedding in and you should be able to start by closing more firmly and pushing in till the door lock catches. did you properly seat the door boot on the cabinet?

What mode are you starting this machine in ? I know this may sound silly and I'm trying to determe if this is a machine fault code or something else.
