I had to take machine apart to get a pouch out that got stuck and cannot remember where a piece goes. There are two long pieces that look like a grate and I do not remember how the one on the front side goes. If I could see a picture of the inside I might be able to tell

How can I open a Fellowes Venus 2 125 Laminator as I have a small pouch stuck in it and it won't come out

I had this happen where I worked and I elected to fix it. You have to remove the screws in the base, and IIRC the ends. Then I used a knife to cut the laminate pouch and pull out the pieces with pliers. If you can turn it on without damaging the machine or zapping yourself, the heat will help. My boss ordered a replacement which turned up a few days later :>D

Please help!!! I put a pouch into my scotch TL901 laminater the wrong way and it is completely Jammed in the middle of the machine!!! I used a flashlight to see how bad it was ad it is completely shredded...

Unplug laminator. If it does not open up -check to see if the machine has a pouch jam lever. The lever will make it easier to remove the jammed pouch. Put the screw back after you clear the jam.

LAM901 Laminator has no reverse. Have a pouch wrapped around the rollers.

carefully remove the pouch by cutting it into pieces with a sharp box cutter (be carefull not to cut the rollers) then pull out the pieces from the rollers then rethread the laminate rolls into the machine as you always have

Pouch stuck in laminator

Firstly switch off the laminating machine and plug out. Turning off the machine will prevent the motor from burning out. As the motor is not burnt, there is no need to repair or substitute the machine.

* When the machine gets turn off look for the damage instantly, if any. If any huge item was inserted to laminate, it might have happened that the item had stuck in the machine. First of all, try to pull out the item gently from the machine. Also, remember that thick and three dimensional items should not be laminated in the laminating machine.

They do not really come apart. You have to pick around the pieces and areas with a steel toothbrush and toothpick.

Some one at work tried to laminate a card. when it did not come out she put in another sleeve thinking it would push the other out. smart uh! how do we get the 2 pages out?

If you were using GBC brand laminating pouches they don't need a carrier, if you were using another brand of laminating pouches, then a carrier is needed (something they don't clearly specify) and that's why the laminating pouch got stuck.
If you have had the laminator under a year, it should be under warranty, and you can call the company, and they will send a replacement, and they will probably then inform you of the above listed laminating pouch issue.
You may also want to try using the reverse button, but many times the pouches will get stuck between several rollers, and you risk destruction of the entire machine by attempting to take them out manually.

Where do I oil my 1017 machine

Take apart the machine. Remove the screws; just remember where you took them out of. All of the pieces are just covers to cover the moving mechanisms.
Wherever metal rubs on metal, oil it. There is often a hole in a metal piece that goes around another piece. Put a small drop of oil in the hole. There are usually lots of holes in lots of metal pieces, meant for oil.

I was given a laminator but it does not have instruction booklet, how does it work?

the main way they work is that you have the laminate pouch into which you slide your paper then make sure that the pouch is put between the guides closed side first the machine will take a while to warm up after you have plugged it in when the green light is on push the pouch in slowly the motor should turn and feed the pouch in automatically.. the important thing is to make sutre the pouch is correct for the type of machine you have and that when feeeding in the pouch it goes in closed end first otherwise it could open and jam.. Good luck A>>

Our Kenmore Sewing machine has a problem when making a bobbin- Instructions says to turn knob for clutch inside the flywheel. Ours is stuck . the machine is a 1985 model but has only been used 20 hours. It...

There are pretty much only a couple of possibilities:

1) Sometime before this problem was discovered, someone took apart and incorrectly reassembled the machine's clucthing mechanism, or

2) You need more "elbow grease." In almost 30 years of sewing machine repairing, more often than not #2 is the answer.
