Don't panic. The needle is probably somewhere where you can get it. Can you see the needle? Look at the cleaning instructions in your manual for how to access the bobbin area. If you can see the needle, try using tweezers or perhaps needle-nose pliers to grab it. You can also try turning the machine upside down to see if the needle will drop out.
If you can't see the needle, it may have dropped all the way to the bottom of the case. If you can shake the machine, can you hear the needle rattling around? If so, I'd leave it there. As long as the needle sets in the bottom of the case, it's probably not going to interfere with the machine's operation unless movement of the machine (ie carrying it to a class) moves the needle into the mechanism. The next time you have the machine servicedthe technician can remove it.
I was thinking about suggesting using a small magnet to grab the needle, but a magnet near a computerized machine may mess up the computer components. So, that's probably something NOT to do.
Not being able to see it is next to impossible to help you. Do you have the parts, it sounds like you lost the needle thread guide, the part that holds the needle has me baffled as to what you mean exactly. Go to www.sewingpartsonline.com and see if you can see your parts. As to you installing them with no experience, I would advise you to get a friend to help or your dealer. You have a good machine and you do not want to mess it up.
Look on back of the tablet and see if there is tiny tiny tiny little hole at the bottom that has the word rest by it. Youwill have to find a paper clip or a needle to stick in there and reset it.
After you get it unfrozen, do the hard reset again but be sure to keep holding the buttons until you get the reset menu.
Yes, you'll need a 3.5 mm audio cable (PC audio) with M/M ends. Connect the cable between the headphone jack of the Next Book and the Aux Input of the Rave speaker. The Aux Input jack on the speaker is between the charging port and the On/Off switch. The headphone jack is between the power button and the DC Power Input port on some Next Book models; you should check your unit's documentation for the exact location. Only the volume controls on the Rave speaker will work. You'll need to select tracks and press Play/Pause on the Next Book.
this sounds like the needle guard it is usually held on by the same screw that holds the needle clamp it should fit so that it comes across the needle at the front to stop your fingers being sown but not interfere with the needle try turning by hand before turning back on.
