Unplug headlight and check resistance with a multimeter of each filaments across back of the globes.
This will confirm filament is ok if high resitance found then globe filament is blown. Or you could spend the money and try a new globe to eliminate possibility of globe failure .

My driver side headlight wire got loose so when i hit a bump at night if would flicker. ... When you notice one side not working (Low or High beam) it could be the module. Headlight replacement

02 Buick century the passenger low headlight not working but high beam is. I checked fuses inside the car what others things can I check.

There should be a left and right fuse and a relay involved.
The lights get power from the fuses, and the headlight switch and dimmer switch provide the ground circuit. So if you check the headlight plug with a meter you should have power and ground for high and low beam.

No power to right side (PS) headlight low beam plug socket, new bulb, fuse is good. High beam works, blinker works, park light works. just no low beam and doesn't register any voltage on volt meter.

check low beam fuse when switched on if it has voltage registering across the fuse ,if there is voltage across the low beam RHS fuse then it is possibly a pinched wire from the headlight running back towards inside of the car

I have a 1994 geo metro. The headlights went out. I checked the fuses. They were ok. The ground wire in the under dash fuse box looked discolored. I made a ground and the left side head light came on...

On these cars the headlights get power from a right and left fuse and the headlight / dimmer switches provide the ground circuit. Both headlights are connected to one ground wire for high and one for low beam. So if one works and the other does not, the problem should be in the wiring before the headlight switch. Red is for high beam and red-white is for low beam. You should be able to jumper the red-white wire on the right headlight and make the low beam circuit for both sides work to test it.

Look for a poor ground connection on the affected bulb socket.

High beam headlights quit working. Bulbs are OK.

If your getting power at the headlight wire harness, then it's going to be the bulb it self, but make sure your checking the right 12 volt terminal at the plug. There should be three terminals there, there is a ground, 12 volt low beam, and a 12 volt high beam. If both the low and high 12 volts are getting power, then it's going to be the head light bulb it self that has reached the end of it's life time since the day time running lights are always on which is the high beams. Good luck and check the fuse box under the hood by the battery.
