When I reply to an e-mail on OUtlook 2010, the font size is very small - and I cannot read the original or what I am typing. Any ideas on how to restore the normal size

Having trouble seeing that small default font of Microsoft Outlook emails? There are three ways of making Outlook email text bigger.
The first includes increasing the text size of the outgoing email messages.
The second includes increasing the text size of messages that are replied to or forwarded.
The last includes making all the text of incoming emails larger as well.

Go to the Tools menu and select Options.
Click the Mail Formats tab and then click Stationary and Fonts.
Find the Personal Stationary tab, then find and click the Font button located under the New Mail Messages heading.
On the Font tab that appears, there will be a variety of options including changing the type of font, style, size and color.

Find the drop-down menu that is under the Size heading and select a bigger number.
Click OK and the new setting will take place the next time a message is composed.

Replies or Forwarded Mail
Go to the Tools menu and select Options.
Click the Mail Formats tab and then click Stationary and Fonts.

Find the Personal Stationary tab, then click the Font button that is located under the Replying or Forwarding Messages heading.
Find the drop-down menu that is under the Size heading and select a bigger number.
Click OK and the new settings will take place the next time a message is replied to or forwarded.

Incoming Email Messages
Go to the Tools menu and select Options.
Click the Mail Formats tab and then click Stationary and Fonts.

Look for the Display Font heading on the Personal Stationary tab and increase the size the size of the font by selecting a larger number.
This will increase the text size for all plain text incoming email.
However, it will not increase the text size of incoming HTML emails.

Set the option to read all incoming email as plain text if it is necessary to increase the text size of all incoming emails.
To do this, go to Tools, then click on Options, then look for the button that says Email Options and click Read all Standard Mail as Plain Text.

Create the menu tab on your homepage right click in the top toolbar you should see a number of toolbar options select the menu tab which will add File Edit View Favorites Tools and Help

My scansoft pdf software is not reducing to a small enough file to e-mail it is at the smallest resolution,

Apart from getting an emails account that allows bigger attachments there may be another way.... In the document ensure the smallest "Font" is used, any images are thumbnail versions and perhaps even try compressing it before you send with winRAR or the like

Bulk mail inde

Put spaces in your type to move it over if you cannot move the margins. You might also be able in print options page setup to indent the margins or paragraph so it prints inside the page.

Print is to small i need it to be larger but i dont know how!

Open the document you are trying to print

Look at the top tools bar

Take the cursor and place it over the writing on the document

The type of font and size should appear in the boxes on the tools bar

If you want to make them bigger

Highlight all of the text which is to be enlarged

Go to the box and select which Font you require ie Times New Roman
Go to the next box and select the Font Size ie 12

That will make the writing bigger and will come out of the printer at that size

I received a photo through e-mail. It is very large. I saved it to My Pictures and moved it to a folder in Kodak easyshare, but I can't print it. How do I make it small enough to print as a 4 x 6"?...

whoa!

Large means 2 completely different things.

1] large file, has high resolution & takes up Megabytes [some e-mails will choke at this.

2] physical size of print.

what these 2 things have to do with each other is: the bigger [1], the better [2] will look.

This is because with more pixels to work with, the ultimate image is better.

The available memory in your computer may not be enough to handle the entire image. Add memory to the computer or send the picture to yourself with a program that "resizes" like outlook, OR have the original sender do the last step.

It is possible that you can change the bit depth [number of colors] on the image, but this isn't recommended for output quality.

Epson CX6600 printer error

Remove the Print ink cartriges. Get a new bottle of windex and using a eye dropper place some windex on the post where the ink sits. also place some windex on the area that the printer uses to clean the print heads. leave it for an hour or two, You might have to do this several times. If problem persists do above treatment and leave over night. Hope this helps.
