Stopping at a rinse cycle usually means a bad fill valve (no cold water)
the machine is waiting for cold water and will not continue until satisfied

sump hose filter blocked, running out of draining time, when you put it on again it allows more time to drain, remove sump hose and clean out internal filter.

SOURCE: Washing Machine won't stop filling up

Try resetting your water level control. If that doesn't help then set the water level control to the lowest setting and observe if level exceeds that setting. If so, you may possibly have a faulty water level control, or an obstruction in the air dome or water level control hose. This can be a tricky 1 to diagnose for a novice.

SOURCE: Washing machine wont stop filling up

check hose to water level switch, if it has had an out of balance situation it can loosen or detach hose. replace hose firmly back on switch or replace hose if that doesn't work.

SOURCE: washing machine won't rinse or spin

sounds as if you have a faulty lid switch, for safety reasons if the machine doesnt think the lid is closed it willnot spin/drain the waer out.

I am facing a new problem le is the code i get and its getting stop in middle of washing cloths

If top loader (you put washing in from top) try to fix by open the lid and move the clothes around.
You may find that the machine is off balance because more clothes are to one side , this will tend to make the machine stop to avoid damage.

Why do the cloths in the wash comes wrinkled when removed from the wash

There are different ways the washing is done by different people that is why there are a lot of options to wash on.
If you put your machine on in the morning and empty it when you get home from work or other then the washing will be stuck to the side of the drum after spinnig some time before, getting all creased up. If this is you, then you need to set the "Rinse Hold" this will stop the machine from doing it's final spin until you release it. Of course you can't put delicates on a fast spin or they will be rueined. Basicly, select the right spin speed/time for the fabrick and try and take the washing out of the drum as soon as the machine finishes.

My 5 year old Roper washing machine fills up, washes/agitates the cloths, drains them when the washer get to the rinse line to start the rinse cycle it stops, and all I hear is a humming. The machine will...

I'm not familiar with roper washing machines so I'll ask the question does it have two fill hoses. Most European machines now only have one fill. If it has two then it sound like the machine takes the initial water from the one fill and the rinse cycle water from another. The humming sounds like the valve for the other fill needs replacing. These are quite inexpensive and easy to fit. Power off.. remove lid ....switch of water...take out valve when you establish which one is affected and replace

Washer stop in middle of rinse cycle

All content © 2000 © 2009 Washerhelp
> Home / Repairs DIY washing machine advice (part 8) Washing machine sticks or stops mid-cycle repairs-sm.gif A very common fault on washing machines is when the program timer fails to complete the cycle and stops part way through. Many people blame the program timer for this but although it is a possible cause, there are many more likely causes for this fault. The program will stick if the heater isn't working, if the thermostat fails, if it can't fill up with cold water for the rinses, if it can't empty the water etc. There are too many possible causes of this fault to be able to give anything other than rudimentary advice. However, the common causes of a washing machine sticking that can easily be fixed are filling and emptying problems.
Check that the cold water supply is available to the washing machine, which is a common cause for sticking on rinses. If the washing machine appears to stop mid-cycle and isn't filling with water on rinses then see Washing machine won't fill with water (or no water goes into washing machine) before calling an engineer. If the washing machine can't drain the water out then it will stick on the rinses, or it will abort with an error code. If you can see water still inside the washing machine then check the following advice Washing machine won't empty water

Rise and spin

While the machine is operating take the timer knob and wiggle it around. If the machine cuts out momentarily then the timer is bad. If not then I would check out the lid switch to see if it is affecting the rinse and spin cycle.

Ariston front loading washing washing

Believe it or not.....its almost always the cloths ( heavy blankets) that one places inside.
TRY:: In the spin cycle if the load is unbalanced the TUB will rock and make that "loose drum out of alignment" noise. STOP the machine and open the door ( IF IT IS A TOP LOADER ) realign the cloths (heavy or more then one blanket) so that it is EVENLY spaced through out the tub.Start the machine again. If it does it again, stop the machine and REALIGN the cloths (blanket !!) again.
p.s. there is a simpler way of doing it but I don't want you to loose your hand in the process.
