Have you tried unplugging the machine for awhile to let the board reset?

CONTROL LOCK GE GAS DRYER
  1. Press and hold for 3 seconds the "Control Lock/Unlock" button on the control panel to lock the control panel.
  2. Listen for a double beep and observe the "Control Lock" status light is lit when the control lock is in effect.

It says CONTROL LOCKED.... how do I get it unlocked??

  • Press any of the buttons on the control panel to see if the buttons are operational or check to see if the "Control Locked" indicator light is lit. If the control panel is operational, you may mistakenly lock the door.


  • Press and hold the "End of Cycle Signal" button for approximately three seconds until the "Control Locked" indicator light shuts off. The control panel is now unlocked, and the washer is ready for use.


  • Lock the washer again by pressing and holding the "End of Cycle Signal" button until the "Control Locked" indicator light turns on.

    • They designed that mostly for kids sorry pain I know just be calm feel saving some ones child thanx

    The "Control Locked" is lit up and the control
    Try holding down the CONTROL LOCK button down for about 3 seconds.

    See if that works.

    Red light is lit on control lock feature, what do i do?
    The control is locked and you can unlock it by pressing and holding the End of Cycle button for 3 seconds or until the Control Locked indicator turns off. Unplug the machine for at least 30 minutes to forcibly reset the control and eliminate the possibility of an electronic glitch if the End of Cycle button does not unlock it. Replace the control if unplugging and the End of Cycle button fails to unlock it.

    The Dryer says "Control Locked"
    Try pressing an holding the "End of Cycle Signal" button on the front panel in for 3 seconds. This button is used to lock/unlock the control panel to keep small children from manipulating the controls when the dryer is not in use. A designed safety feature. If this does not work for you, please post back and let me know. I hope this helps you.

    How to unlock control lock on ge monogram side by side
    shoud be amatter of pressing abutton and holding in for 3-5 secs to unlock. look closely at the control panel it should indicate which button(s)
