How to install the canon imagrclass MF4700 printer

Try a Different USB port

Best option will be to uninstall and download latest drivers

1. Look in Programs and Features and uninstall any program that correlates to the printer driver you wish to remove.
2. Open Devices and Printers and if still present, remove the printer driver by right-clicking it and choosing "Remove device."

Not doing these before attempting to remove the driver files may result in an "access denied" or "printer in use" error.

To completely remove printer driver files from your system:

     2. Select any printer and then click "Print server properties" at the top of the window.
     3. Click on the Drivers tab.
   • For Windows XP systems:
     1. Click Start > Control Panel > Printers and Faxes.
     2. Click the File menu and choose "Server Properties."
     3. Click on the Drivers tab.
2. Select the printer driver you wish to uninstall.
3. Click the Remove button.
4. Select "Remove driver and driver package" and click OK.

under the network settings option.. if you have an android cell phone you can run an app called "fing" it will look at your network and report back the devices connected and their IP addresses. Also most printers you can print out a network settings report. Also if it is not seen turn it off and unplug wait a few minutes and power back on.
Are you running windows? There are options that can be given if you can't find it with the settings menu on the printer or the android app I suggested.

Hello, This doesn't take ink, it only takes toner and you can get from Best Buy , Staples or Wal mart.

1st WPS is not recommended to be enabled - very easy to defeat
2nd USUALLY setting up wifi involves selecting the network, entering the network p/w or security code and u r done.
the code is available from the router, the network admin, or a wifi connected computer.

Try going to the Canon website and download your software. ( http://software.canon-europe.com/products/0010647.asp )

Uninstall any software that you may already have install for the Canon by going to ' add & remove programs ', uninstall your canon printer by going to ' printers & faxes, disconnect your Canon printer from your computer.

Reboot your computer.

Install the Canon printer software that you downloaded.

Hook up your Canon printer to your computer.

The software should install automatically. If not, re-install the software you downloaded.

my printer canon pixma iP300 installer was lost, where can i download the installer.

I dont have a cd to install my Canon pixma iP1700 printer. Can u please help me. Thanks
