My Euro-Pro leaks steam at the filler cap. It is tightened down but still leaks. Have replaced the rubber ring in the cap but still leaks dangerous pressure steam.

Your heater in the cleaner is either plugged or has quit working, make sure you are getting a good ground for the cleaner. you may want to check the ground pin on the cord and make sure it is not loose or broken.

SOURCE: Steamer filler cap is sealed

You need a little more leverage--either a strap type tool or a pair of adjustable width pliers that span the width of the cap. Try running hot water over the cap first which may loosen it enough to remove by hand.

SOURCE: euro-pro Shark steam mop has a broken handle.

I have broken 4 shark handles, have repaired them its a pain. remove the screws on the handle end of the head pop out the broken handle part, drill a 3/16 hole into the part tap 1/4 inch threads use a countersunk head 1/4 inch bolt screw it together put epoxy on the inside to lock threads reassemble. its a pain. two small keepers lock the swivel together pry out with a screwdriver carefully dont loose them. I broke one shark handle when it was brand new. this repair works good if you like alot of fooling around

Safety cap on the Euro-Pro dexuxe steam cleaner style SC507H

if it is anything like mine...you push the cap down, give it a full turn & release. keep doing this (maybe 5 or more times, and eventually it will start unscrewing easily without needing to push down
