Patty, I'm first assuming you can at least boot the tablet to the menu screen. Scroll over to the settings menu. Scroll down the settings menu to backup and reset. You then have two options given: Back up my data or Factory data reset!

Hi turn tablet of then try holding down you're power button & the volume up button at the same time to see if it will reboot:::,if the tablet has been corrupted u might have to do a factory reset.. good luck

Need to reset the default language to spanish

That totally depends on the Operating System installed by the manufacturer.
Check on their website.

As a general default, going to main menu / settings there will be an option to Reset to Factory Default. This generally then forces you to reconnect to your wi-fi provider and reset tablet languages.
(This is a pure guess for your tablet, sorry, no makers name so no real clue.
