Hello, My bosch drill was working intermittently, and when pressing the button for ant-clockwise/clockwise rotation would run again, but now does not work at all. There is no loose wiring. Any ideas what the problem could be? Kind regards Patrick

Easiest thing to do is take the model number to your local agent, and get a replacement switch unit. They are normally all-in-one thuings and somewhat finicky to work on. Save time and money, buy a new one.

Bosch maxx 5 washing machine has stopped working , display showing 0-77

Try resetting the washer and see if it was a glitch.

1. With the power on press and hold down the start button.

2. While still holding the button down turn the dial one click anti-clockwise (15 minute cycle on mine)

3. If it shows '8888' on the display then skip to step 5, if it shows 'E3' turn the dial back to the off position.

4. Press and hold the start button down and again turn the dial one click anti-clockwise (15 minute cycle on mine)

5. With '8888' now displaying hold the start button in for 1 minute.

6. Stop pressing the start button.

7. Return the dial to the off position.

What direction should ice auger run mine runs counter clock wise

Most ICE augers rotate counter clockwise. There are a few that don't but they tend to based on EARTH drilling augers which generally rotate Clockwise.

Bosch GSB 18 VE-2 gearbox jammed

The screw inside the chuck of most drills is backwards from what you would think. You will need to rotate it clockwise to remove.

Bosch 11247 rotary hammer will not hammer

SAME ISSUE *****SOLVED*****

You were on the right track but needed to go farther with top description without disassembly!!

I have a barely used Hammer drill also that will rotate and run motor but does not hammer in any position.

Grease is the issue.....

Heat and sitting causes the grease to weep out & even a small amount of dust binds up the hammer drill.

******SOLUTION*****

GREASE, GREASE & MORE GREASE....

REMOVE BIT....SQUIRT IN ALOT OF THE BOSCH GREASE HOLD LOCKING CHUCK OPEN. INSERT A SPLINED BIT INTO THE HOLE AND PLUNGE GREASE IN SLOWLY SEVERAL TIMES. REMOVE BIT & REFILL GREASE & REPEAT.....VOILA.....HAMMER WORKING AGAIN....

BE SURE TO USE LOTS OF GREASE & DUST COVERS ON Bosch HD WHEN WORKING. WE ALL ERROR AND FAIL TO MAINTAIN FROM TIME TO TIME!

I have an old Bosch CSB420-E electric drill. I want to remove the key chuck. There is no screw in the chuck, so have no idea what to do. Grateful for any suggestions. Thanks

You have to secure the armature or gear assembly that the chuck is attached to and rotate it counter clockwise to remove from the shaft. Warming it to 150 degrees F should make it slightly easier to turn.

I can't remove the chuck bit from my hammer drill PBH 2000 re

This is normally easy procedure, just press chuck inward and turn clockwise, then retrieve.

This is same way as you will insert/remove your drill from the chuck.

If this method is unsuccessfull, plese rotate knob (close to chuck) anticlockwise till you go to position between chiseling and driling, as this is not lockable position, you need to hold knob in one hand and manipulate chuck with other hand.

This method is described in more detail in manual which comes with hammer-drill.

Hope this solve your problem, this is excellent tool and I always love to use it. Will handle drill up to 20mm in concrete and not even much vibration.
