You can right click on the CD drive on your computer and choose 'Eject'. If that does not work, here is a link to a youtube video that should work for a slot load cd/dvd computer.
if you look just below the cd drive there should be a little pin hole
insert something into to it and hold it there for a few seconds
the drive should then realease the cd
The slot will be there in the left hand side of the computer.. It will look like a slot rather than a tray so please use that.. In order to take a disk out of the computer floow these steps Normally the studio laptops have soft eject for the CD and they dont have a button.. Press and hold the Fn key and then press the F10 key to eject the cd.. Another way is get into computer.. Right click on the DVD/cd rom drive and click on eject... This will work....
If you look at the front of the CD drawer, you should see a tiny hole. That hole is to allow the removal of a disk that will not eject. Find yourself a paper clip and straighten it out except for the shortest bend and form it into the shape of a letter L. With the rest of the clip looking nice and straight push it into the hole gently and that wil actuate the mechanism that will release the disk. Hope that helps.
Since you drive does not open using the button nor with the mouse (open my computer - right click on the proper dvd rom drive - choose eject), software may be interfering with the normal operation of the drive. Do the following: 1. Attempt to Eject the CD in System Setup. Reboot the computer and tap the F2 key while at the Dell logo screen to enter System Setup. Then attempt to eject the CD tray using the button on the drive. If the drive ejects properly, there is a software conflict that needs to be resolved. 2. In case that the solution before didn't help, locate a small hole near the eject button of the tray. Use a paper clip in order to put it in this hole and push the internal cogwheel to rotate and open the drive.

You can go to my computer and then you will see the dvd drive showing.
It will probably show the title of the cd. Usually it is the D drive.
Right click it and click eject. That should eject it for you.
Studio systems does not have any tray because it uses a slot. Theres no mechanical eject button. You may eject it using the Fn+F10 key on your keyboard.
Actually that is the first thing I tried.
