Do what I do for every piece of electronic equipment I own, especially remote controls. Go to the manufacturer's Website and the go to support and download the user manual in PDF format and save it to your MY Documents file or whereever.

SOURCE: i keep getting the 'rear check' message on the

With the home theater system off, press and hold the REMAIN button on the home theater's remote control for 5 seconds.
Note: You can release the REMAIN button when the POWER LED blinks blue.

With the wireless module turned on, use a ball point pen to press the RESET button on the back of the wireless module. The POWER LED in the front of the home theater blinks two times.

Turn on the home theater. The LINK LED on the front of the SWA-3000 changes from red to blue, indicating the wireless module has connected to the home theater.

If your home theater continues to display rear check after you have tried the steps above, call Samsung Customer Care at 1-800-SAMSUNG (1-800-726-7864). Have your model number and serial number on hand to set up service.

Hi, I'm using the Samsung HT-E330K. It works but does not speak out. The power display is fine but no sound

If your Samsung HT-E330K home theater system is not producing any sound even though the power display seems to be working fine, there are several potential causes and troubleshooting steps you can try:
1. **Check Volume Levels:** Make sure the volume on the home theater system and the connected TV (if applicable) is turned up and not muted.
2. **Check Audio Source:** Verify that the correct audio source is selected on the home theater system. If you're using multiple input sources (DVD, TV, AUX, etc.), make sure the right input source is selected.
3. **Audio Cables:** Ensure that all audio cables are securely connected to both the home theater system and the audio source (TV, DVD player, etc.). Sometimes, loose or faulty cables can result in no sound.
4. **Speaker Connections:** Check that all speakers are properly connected to the home theater system and that the speaker wires are securely inserted into the appropriate terminals.
5. **Audio Settings:** Go through the audio settings on both the home theater system and the connected TV (if applicable). Ensure that the correct audio output settings are configured.
6. **Mute Function:** Double-check that the mute function on the remote control or the home theater system itself is not engaged.
7. **Speaker Balance:** Check the speaker balance settings to ensure that sound is not unintentionally directed to one side or speaker.
8. **Reset to Default Settings:** If you've made any changes to the settings recently, consider performing a factory reset to revert to the default settings.
9. **Firmware Update:** If there is a firmware update available for your home theater system, consider updating the firmware as it might resolve any software-related issues.
10. **Test with Different Source:** Test the home theater system with different audio sources to rule out issues with a particular device.
11. **Test Speakers:** If possible, disconnect each speaker one at a time and test the audio to identify if a particular speaker or speaker wire is causing the issue.
12. **Check Speaker Impedance:** Ensure that the speakers' impedance matches the specifications of the home theater system. Mismatched impedance can affect sound quality.
13. **Contact Support:** If you've tried these steps and still have no sound, consider contacting Samsung customer support or seeking assistance from a professional technician for further troubleshooting and repair.
Remember to refer to your device's user manual for specific instructions related to your model.

5.1 Dolby system does not work with the T.V.

Solution: connected the rear right and left wires to the Front , left and right wires......................and everything works the way I anticipated without any technical problems....... the woofer works on a separate circuit, so I continue to receive the "low" frequency..

Center speaker and wireless rear speakers have no sound

I had the same issue, but apparently...it's not an issue. What I discovered is that the system was fine, but the station I was watching didn't broadcast in 5.1 surround sound. Therefore, only the front speakers will have sound. Try putting a dvd in, or listening to a gameing system through it. If you don't have sound after listening to something that puts out full surround sound, then you know you have an issue.

Sony Model DAV ? SB 500W Home Theatre System

Please check at rear of TV for Digital Optical IN port as home theater should have optical out port at rear. If you got any optical in port in TV, just connect optical wire between TV and home theater.

2nd option is check Line Out pins at rear of home theater system, if found, hook red-white RCA cable there and put it to same input in TV where you hooked Video (composite or component) cable.

Let me know the results to help you more.

Can't get the surround sound to play the rear speakers and small front speaker

Sounds like it's just in 2 channel stereo mode, only 2 speakers working out of 5 and a sub, look for a selector switch for switching to 5.1 surround, as far as the no video problem try replacing the cable for the video connection.
