Connect it to a PC that has the latest Blackberry desktop software installed and update the OS on the Playbook. If the computer will not detect that Playbook might be toast. I just tossed one that would recognize but the power button was bad and the batteries were oozing fluid.

Blackberry wont light up after connecting to

Hello,

the battery is very low that's why. The battery cell is weak such that it cannot be power up with charger. Except you use a desktop charger to wake the battery cell, then you can continue the charging with your charger.

Also you can leave the charger in the mouth of the black berry for some hour as it might still power up the battery.

There is nothing to worry about. Its a battery issue.

Take care.

Notebook won't turn on or charge (new charger and new battery)

Hi,

The New battery will not be charged yet, I wouldn't of thought, until you plug it in and charge it.

your problem is with the connector inside the Pc, that the charger connects to,

This has come lose and is now failing,
$150/$200 to repair the connection.

Richard.

Black berry that wont turn on

Remove the back of the phone. Pop out the battery. let it sit for about 10 minutes. Replace the Battery & the back cover of the phone. If the phone starts up, then let it start and immediately plug in the charger and let it charge for 1/2 hour before you touch it again.
If the phone does not start up then do not try to start it just immediately plug in the charger and let it charge for 1/2 hour before you touch it again.

It works for my Blackberry Curve 8310...

My a701

Hi Kane

When a battery gets really low, it may not take a charge straight away, leave it connected for several hours, it may come back. If not, a new battery is in order, and a charger I guess also:)
