Did you verify this with an online 'speed test' site ?

Did you run the test from each workstation when none of the other machines were using the internet ?

Are all 4 PC's connected via an Ethernet, (or wired,) connection, or are one or more of them using a wireless connection ?

SOURCE: computer is slow how can i speed it up

turn off programs that start up when the system boots up and turn off unneeded processes. What OS are you running? Windows? Mac OS Linux?
I can only guide you with Windows myself.

there are a few decent free programs that will help show what is running and let you turn them on or off when system starts I prefer myself slimware utilities. There are 4 free programs.

SlimComputer Free
Very simple and easy to use and I have notice an increase in my Pc speed with it. I use it on all my Windows units (XP, VISTA, 7, 8.1)
Another decent program is Comodo Cleaning Essentials (also free)

On my DELL Deminsion E110 the video downloads are sporadic and jerky, but audio is good

Audio is easy...requires little ram to operate. Video today needs 2 GIGABITS or more for VIDEO. A lot depends in the Motherboard Processor also. If it is old, the main processor is no doubt slow. High speed internet is faster than some computer speeds and thus the computer is trying to buffer (catch up) which causes means conditions to occur. Lag time with Video is one problem.
Windows operating system is another. Win 8-10 are ok, but older OS's are slow. THEN we have a Video Card problem. Old cards require new drivers to keep up with changes. Some old Video is slow because the VIDEO RAM is too slow and old. Solution = a New 2018 Computer

Ps3 slow downloading with at&t

ATT is not the fastest service but if you get 25 MPS that should be enough to avoid buffering. The OS should be Win 10 "CURRENT updated version" for best communication and fast drivers. Try a program from Tweating.com called WIN repair, Free. This can remove jammed code that slows down an OS. Other issues are the amount of RAM, type of RAM, Ram Speed. Be certain all device drivers are up to date also. If the computer is using Wireless to Modem/Internet, try a direct CAT5/6 Ethernet connection.

Printer takes forever to print

How is the printer connected to your computer(s)?
If it is USB or network. Try a different cables.

Does your computer run slow also? Low disk space can cause print jobs to print slowly.

Network issues can cause slow printing as well. If your printer is on network and there is a mismatch of 10/100 Mbps speed or Half/Full duplex, the printing can be slow.

If your OS is Windows, remove the printer from Printers and Faxes. Uninstall the driver package if installed separately. Download the latest drivers and install them and reinstall the printer.

The netbook freeze or go slow motion when I watch a move

The problem could be any one of the things mentioned below.

1) It could be that you need more memory. Check you laptop to see what is the maximum amount of memory it will hold and if you can upgrade it to more then do it. Click Start/Control Panel and look for System or System and Performance. Click it and it will tell you how much memory you have. You can go to the website of: http://www.4allmemory.com to see what is the total capacity your computer will hold.

2) It could be that the site you war watching the movie from is experiencing heavy traffic or their site is just slow. When you watch a movie in your dvd player does it stall? If it does it's your computer and you need more memory or you might have a virus or infection that is causing it to be slow and freeze.

3) Some internet service providers have different line speeds and you might have a slow line speed. For example, AT&T sells different line speeds and if you purchase the low end (cheapest) then your download and upload speed will be very slow. If you are watching movies online then the streaming (downloading) to your computer could be impacted by the slow line speed.

Runs slow on video downloads

Hello Sir,

downloading speed depends on internet connection not on PC specification.

If your transfer is low then downloading will also be low.

Take note that source from which you are downloading also must have reliable connection.
