Turn off the computer completely and start again , this don’t work , turn computer on go to start button and in all programs look for restore pc and just restore with the date before outage .
it was happened to me, i had a hard time to connect to our internet connection because of the virus, you have no choice but to reformat your computer, but if you have many important files in your computer, have a back up of it, you can store your backup files in CD or USB, but there is some instances that the virus on your computer can be deleted by anti virus,.the best thing you hsve to do is to reformat your computer, so it could clean up the memory of your computer
The last point is the most important -- the speaker light is not glowing. That means it's not getting power, and nothing else is going to work.
If you have access to a multimeter (voltmeter) you can test the adaptor to see if it's producing the power that is on the label. That would help you figure out if the problem is the adaptor or inside the speaker.
If you bought it retail, I'd suggest taking it back. I can't say for sure where the defect is, but "I plug it in and it doesn't turn on" is a sure-fire indicaor that it's defective.
