SOURCE: Sharp Aquos LC-46d65U HDMI connect

First off a little tip that manufacturers don't tell you is that you HAVE to TURN OFF the POWER to ANY UNITS that you are Connecting to via HDMI!!!!!!! If not you can short out the Inputs!!!!!!!! HDMI is usually Automatic, But sometimes you need to go into the Menus on all Devices to the HDMI section and write down their settings and compare them. Any definition that you are not sure of check the Manual or Google it! Match all the Settings (there won't be Much!) Hopefully the Inputs were not Damaged it only takes one time to short it out and then the Repairman makes a few bucks! Good Luck!

SOURCE: TV wont detect HDMI Devices except a pc.

Something is wrong whith the HDMI jack it's self, or the electronic switching is not sensing a signal is present. In either case the board that has the HDMI jack you are using needs to be replaced. Most all these boards are double printed, Multi-layered or both which prevents replacing the jack it's self. I do have a question though, do you only have on HDMI jack on the unit or do you have another one available.

SOURCE: Help HDMI Splitter Doesn't Work!

The HDMI splitter is intended to take one source to two displays. You need an HDMI switch to take two sources to one display, a device you can tell which input to select.

I have a HX32N2176h Hisense 32" LED tv will this TV handle and display HD when connected to a Laptop or Android Box with HDMI Cable?

The Hisense HX32N2176H will display an HD signal of 1366x720 with the HDMI input. (Any resolution above 480 (lines of pixels) is considered HD.) However, this isn't a full-HD (1080) capable TV. See https://www.hificorp.co.za/hisense-32in-81cm-hdr-led-tv-hx32n2176 for the specifications. Click on the Technical Details tab.

I hope this helps.

New 50" hisense tv .. unable to use hdmi for cable box .. tried different cables and all 3 hdmi outlets on tv ????

There might be a setting on your cable box for audio output. Use the cable remote and look in the audio section of the settings menu and select HDMI output. Mine is under Audio Digital Output in the Audio/Video menu.

Hisense tv is stuck on retrieving data, then goes to no signal. Desktop is hooked up to it.. desktop was working with hdmi before

I had the same problem right up until the HDMI stopped working altogether. I had to use the ''component'' cables instead. The problem in my case is a bad HDMI socket (circuit board). The word ''randomly'' caught my attention. That's exactly how it happened with mine.

Check that the setting on set tv up is for HDMI. It may be on TV (non cable input, aerial for instance or AV1, DVD player).

You could have a HDMI cable that has gone bad; FYI, HDMI cables carry both audio and video signals.

Hisense 46" LED HDMI sound problems when connected to directv H44/700 genie

This issue is usually caused by a bad cable or a excessively long cable.
To test this try this cable on anther port or TV, also turn the cord around and try the opposite ends in the TV.
If you find that the cord works on another TV than chances are it's the port on the TV or other appliance.
You should have more than one HDMI input you can also try using one of those and seeing of that resolves the issue.

Everything working except I can't get digital channels. It comes up with no signal. But all digital SBS channels are working fine. How could that be.

Is it saying no signal or one moment please? No signal is a dead give away; there isn't any. One moment please can be several things. Low signal or cable box isn't active. How do you have your connection from your cable box set up as? Coaxial cable, RCA, HDMI, or component? Also, make sure whatever connection you're using, connect from you cable box out into your TV's in (type of cable you're using) Make sure you're on the correct input. For example. RCA may be video 1 or 2 depending on where you plugged it in. Hdmi -> may be HDMI 1 or 2. Coaxial may be channel 3 or 4 on your tv set. Hope this helps.
