Calibrate the control panel Use the following procedure to calibrate the control panel: 1. Turn the device off. 2. Press and hold the # key and the C key. 3. Turn the device on. 4. When a small white square appears in the upper-left corner of the control-panel display, touch the square with a stylus. 5. When a small white square appears in the lower-left corner of the control-panel display, touch the square with a stylus. 6. Allow the device to finish the boot process.

Looks like this is a common issue for this printer when printing checks. Go to printer preferences from the print dialog, and then set the printer paper to "Other Inkjet Paper" and try to print again.

Hi try these solutions.
Go to START MENU
Choose Commamd prompt, right click mouse and run as administrator (You should be in this command C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32- If not type this command when you in the dos command prompt "CHDIR C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEMS32\ and press enter")
Type the letter "cmd"
Type the word "net stop spooler"
Exit
Go to C: drive
Choose to Windows Folder
Click show content
Choose system32 folder
Choose spool folder
Choose printer
And delete all printing jobs pending
Again go back to CMD window and type the word "net start spooler"
Restart your computer and must also turn off your printer and then switch it on.
Please try this solution.
Remove the USB cable into the printer and leave the printer on.
Remove all the cartridges.
Close the cartridge door and wait for the INSERT INK MESSAGE to appear.
Disconnect the power cable and from the power source supply.
Move the carriage using your hand from the original position to the other side of the printer and then move it back to original position. Wait for couple of minutes
Reconnect power cord and turn on the printer.
Return all the ink cartridges and close the door. Wait for the calibration process.
Print the test page to check if it working.
Reconnect the USB cable and try to print again.
