Seiki se322fs won't turn on

Based on the specs from CNET, the Seiki SE322FS does not have an optical digital audio port. There is a coaxial digital audio port which looks like a standard RCA jack. The main difference is that it will be a single output jack, instead of the groups of RCA input jacks (component and composite audio/video ports). Since the TV will be your audio source, you'll need a coaxial to optical digital audio converter. Thus, you'll need to get a coaxial digital audio cable separately. A different converter is needed to go from an optical digital audio output to a coaxial digital audio input.

I cannot see from your pic but is there any bulged capacitors on the power board if so they need replacing. if you have a hair dryer put on a hot setting and heat up the boards one area at a time then try to turn on tv this sometimes helps locate ther problem area.

turn on the tv. press menu? can you see a menu? if not. your tv requires service.

From your description there are blown electrolytic capacitors on the power supply board,a visual inspection will show bulged burst or leaky caps.I am assuming there is no sound or pic and no visible light from the screen.I must assume you have no prior electrical service knowledge and warn of possible high voltages being present on the primary side of the power supply at the 400volt filter cap
also be sure to unplug the set before removing the back pannel

Couple things here. A lot of the flat panels and projectors will shut down after a few minutes if no signal is present so I would not worry about that. The first thing to check is all of your connections and then check that your TV is on the same input you have the cables plugged into. Most remotes with have an "input" or a "source" button to toggle through the inputs.

Check and replace damaged component/s at it main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Viewing it in "Mosaic" or "Magazine" will make surf easy. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. Do asearch by type in the brand name of your device at its search box.

It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis.

You need to turn on the cable box again. Make sure to select the right source again for your tv.

try pushing the same button again to reverse the channel range ?
