We have a Franke Evolution coffee machine and the fault 'E43 Motor Time Out' error keeps appearing. Could you please advise me what this fault is. Is it related to the upper head micro switches and if so...

E43 error motortime out refers to the brew unit not being "sensed" by the micro switch, the most common fault is the micro switch failing. other causes are the failure of the brewmotor itself, or bushes within the brewer. The micro switch is simple to replace as its obvious withits location. the other however will require the expertise of an engineer.

GET 0E CODE SHOWING ON MY LG DISHWASHER

The most common cause of an OE error code on a modern LG dishwasher is:
1. Blocked drain hose
2. Obstruction in the sump area (beneath the filter, which needs to be removed to check for onstruction)
3. Failing drain motor.
else you need to REPLACE THE PCB POWER CONTROL BOARD

if that doesnt help you.....

the problem IS NOT necessarily a blocked drain hose or the drain pump it could be the thermostat micro switch!!! the thermostat is located at the rear of the right bottom side of the dishwasher(held by oval nylon plastic housing). Turn the machine off. remove the right side panel.(remove top {2screws in lid at back}, remove right panel screws {2 behind door, 3 bottom back panel, 2 behind panel below door {pull panel out from top [no screws pushes in & out of place]}. Locate oval nylon/plastic shape located as above - micro-switch is in the middle (3 wire connectors in 1 block) thermostat is 2 connectors ( 1 each side of micro-switch). use screwdriver to push thermostat back into the nylon housing on both sides (it has worked its way out a bit over time and stops the micro-switch working). Reassemble and dishwasher starts to work again!!!!

Motor does not shut off when trigger on wand is released

When the trigger is released, pressure builds up and this acts on a valve (spill valve or pressure control valve). When this pressure is big enough it will push the spill valve out and closes a micro switch. Now this Spill Valve gets stuck sometimes, mainly due to soap and chemicals...so the micro switch is not closed...so the machine contiues running. If this is left likee this it will cause damage to the valves. So all one has to do is service the spill valve or as I usually do I replace it. There are cases were the micro switch is damaged also..and needs to be replaced. To see the spill valve and micro switch you must open the cover. The spill valve is located where you see a cover with an electric wire coming out of it. If the micro switch is good...you must tackle the Spill valve.

Added 2gb micro card

The player can read the card, but it is not going to add more memory space to the player. The function of the card reader is to enable your player to play songs that you otherwise couldn't play because the hard drive is full.
