Re: Leap pad screen is broken on the inside. It still...
I had the same problem with my laptop. The help I received at the tech office was zero. Maybe you can buy a second hand pad with intact screen to fit. Techos will want you to buy a new pad.
Thanks :) I think I posted this in the wrong area but oh well LOL. Yea I didn't think they would do much. I just wonder if I can send it somewhere to get fixed. Thanks :) I think I posted this in the wrong area but oh well LOL. Yea I didn't think they would do much. You can send it back to the manufacturer for a replacement which will cost nearly as much for a new one with warranty. I'm sorry to say but there isn't a strong market for that type of repair.
Really in these cases Leap Pads are not like IPads, you can't replace the screen. What I personally suggest is to take it back to the store and see if they'll give you a discount on another one.
you can actually but the problem is not by who or how but getting the replacement screen..
you can get the screen from Leap-pad, you need to call them and get on to sales..
now you have 2 choices, you can a.) buy the screen and have a local tech change it for you, or change it yourself.. (quite easy, open it up, unplug that screen, plug in the new one, reassemble.) yes it just jacks into the main board.
or you can send it into leap-pad to have them fix it for you..
I would recommend you decided which your more convenient and cheapest for you.
Cannot replace screen. Contact leap frog through the warranty. They have you deface the bad one and send a pic of it, then they mail you a brand new one
your screen has broken and LCD also has broken that's why your half screen is working and half is black. you have to change your screen and then use your phone again like before
