Black is working, but all cartridges are new, but will print colour
This could be your default print settings telling the printer to use mono all the time. Go into control panel or Devices and Printers, get the printer queue up, or the settings if you can remember where they are (i forgot!), click Printer then click properties. In the option tabs at the top, if it's the correct driver for the printer you should find an option under general called Preferences. Click this and you should find the default settings for the printer including paper sizes and colour/mono printing modes.
Hope this helps?

Are you sure the color cartridge is in properly and you removed all of the tape?

Hi Manavoc,
I will explain you the cause for it.
It prints in yellow first and then override with black for better quality. This is the reason your color ink gets empty.

If is an original brand? Some generic cartridges or refill ones gave that problem.

Try cleaning the print heads. You can find more troubleshooting info in the manual:

Try This :
Click On Start >>> Control Panel >>> Printers and Faxes >>> Right Click on the Printer Icon >>> Click on Properties >>> Click on Printing Preferences >>> Click on the "Color" Tab >>> Under color options Select Print in Colour >>> Click on Apply and click on OK.
Try to print in Colour.
