I have a whirlpool quiet partner II and for some reason it does not drain the water out any more and I cannot figure out why....people say that it is the filter but that is unbelievably hard to get to and I cannot find any instructions online or paper work that tells how to break it down. If anyone has any insight please let me know

SOURCE: I have the Whirlpool Quiet Partner 1 the wash

If the clean light blinks 7 times thats you heating circuit. Test the heater with an ohm meeting to see if it has open. If so order the heater kit and it comes with the control board.

Does my whirlpol du1145xtpb1 dishwasherr need to be reset

SERVICE DIAGNOSTICS CYCLE
To start the Service Diagnostics Cycle, press the
following keys, in order, in less than 6 seconds, while in standby(power on but unit off):
Heated Dry, Normal, Heated Dry, Normal
To Rapid advance one interval at a time, press the Start key, noting that
unlike Standard cycles, the Diagnostics Cycle automatically resumes
after door openings and does not require pressing Start to resume.

Once the diagnostic cycle has run and shut off, run a normal wash cycle, empty and with no detergent, to reset the control to factory "normal" operation. Make sure there's plenty of hot water.

see this possible causes:
Water-heating cycle
heat, wash, and rinse has the 3 cicle, principal problem is the heat cycle, when the water reach the level ( by heating water elements) test the heating elements , most ot the time fixing this .the problem is o.k

I have a whirlpool quiet partner ii keeps stopping

DON'T REPLACE THE WHOLE BOARD!!! Are you kidding me? These other answers are a joke. I know exactly what is wrong because I had the same exact problem. I had the same problem with the same dishwasher. Get to the control board panel behind the keypad (from the inside of the door). Look at all the capacitors. If any of them have a top that is convex (bubbling out), then they need to be changed. I had two capacitors that were bad (right next to each other). i ordered the same ones on amazon.com for $5. actually i got a 10 pack. unsoldered old ones. soldered new ones in. works perfectly. these models have a poor electronic board design or a poor overall design that blows these capacitors. Such an easy fix. I read so many internet threads where so many people with the same exact problem and replaced the whole board for $120 minimum if they did it themselves. silly. CHECK ALL THE CAPACITORS FIRST. 95% OF THE TIME when electronics go bad, its a bad capacitor, usually one that deals with the overall power. ~cheers

More likely: the solenoid which directs the water to either the drain or the spray arm is clogged/jammed. Located underneath near the drain line.
