E51 - NUMBER 1 NOT WORKING CANNOT ENTER RESET CODE

JUST BOUGHT THIS PHONE - 2ND HAND - NOT USED TO BUYING PROBS-- AS I SAY PREVIOUS OWNER DID NOT RESET SO ALL HIS DETAIL ON PHONE AND I CANNOT INSERT 12345 AS NUMBER 1 DOES NOT APEAR ON SCREE WHEN PUSHED

Why Mobile said Error ???

Because you enter wrong security code,
12345 is a Nokia's Default security code ,and it can be changeable


Sol: Go to Service center and unlocked your cell phone

u need to go to d nearest nokia service centre n tell dem d same...they will change ur security code n make u choose 1 for u....no need to panic...those pple will help u..!!

it ll works buddy....just switch off ur phone ......wait for a minute..... now press * 3 Green power button...dont leave untill the phone switches on and the home page displays.....

If you forgot the password or don't know the security code, You have to master reset the phone. Contact your service provider to get a master reset code at free of cost....You can also visit http://www.unlock-zone.com/ and can see different options there to get unlock code for a price. Choose any price appropriate for you.................

I am forgot reseting code nokia e51
To do that, just enter the code/number *#7370# and that will do the master factory reset. If it asks for a reset code, try 12345 or 1234.

I have a lg shine cu720 and its asking for a security code i dont know it. it is a at&t phone i have tried 0000 and 1111 and 1234 nothing works please help me.
If you bought the phone new and the default 12345 does not work, then the security code should be in the papers you received with the phone or maybe printed on the box.

If you bought it second hand then the previous owner should be able to help you.

Otherwise you'll have to take the phone to your nearest service provider with proof that you are its owner (invoice in your name with the phone's IMEI number, and photo ID) and they'll be able to reset the security code for you. Do a backup before having this done because it might entail a full reset of the phone, which will erase all your data.

Alternatively, you could attempt a firmware update with LG Software Updater. A firmware update often resets the security code back to the factory default (but not on all models).

Trying to factory restor my lg 9800 but dont have security code since I bought phone used how can I reset to erase all the previous owners **** ?
1 - Open the Flip
2 - Press MENU >> Then ' 0 ' [ zero ]
3 - At the Service Code prompt enter six zeros
4 - Choose option 12

Phone should REBOOT and RESET to Factory Defaults... But, if you want to go to the pre-activation stage, that's a different process...

1 - Flip Open, Press Menu
2 - Press 0 followed by 000000 [6 zeros at the Sevice Code Prompt]
3 - Choose Option 1 [ Service Program ]
4 - Click the OK soft button [brings you to the * Phone Number (MDN)* screen]
5 - At that screen enter 10 zeros - to replace your current phone number
6 - Click the OK soft-button
7 - At this screen repeat step number 5
8 - Now click END

Phone will REBOOT by itself and the screen will now display " Initial Programming Required " - This is what the Sales Rep sees when he/she opens the box and boots the phone the very first time to program it to your account

2nd hand Nokia 5800 wants lock code when I switch on. Book says 12345 previous owner says he hasn't changed it but no joy. Setting in phone says 'Lock if Sim changed' so I guess it's done that.
Hi if you give me the imei number off the back of the phone under the battery once i have this i can then get you the master security code witch will then give you access to your phone and reset the security code to what it was when the phone was new.

If how ever the wrong code has been entered more than 5 times then this means the phone is hard locked and can only be unlocked using leads and software this can only be done at a phone shop and they will charge for this service.
