How do I reset blinking code, 33 E, on Samsung French door fridge after power outage?

If the power /freezer is set the blue snow flake remains lit.
How do use the digital control panel on my Samsung fridge freezer

to turn off for normal operation and power save push and hold power/freezer button for 3 seconds.

compressors use a small start / run capacitor to start the compressor
modern fridges do not like spikes from power outages and many power boards and electronic components fail because of this and I am inclined top use a surge protector before the fridge cord plug

Be sure the drain is clear these are well known for drain blockage. the area behind the shelves is where you would find the evaporator and drain hole.

this is the control board you will need for your model if unplugging the unit for 5 minutes doesn't fix the problem. If they are LED lights, then I point my finger at this. This is a plug and play board with molex connectors. Very easy to install with unit unplugged. You can manually reset the display and check for error codes by holding the top left and top right button on your user interface for 5 seconds in unison FOR 5 or more seconds after all the lights flash.

According to Samsung Customer Support SE stand for Sensor Error... after a power outage... so follow the same procedure as 1e (holding the save energy and lighting button for about 6 to 10 seconds.)

Had same problem on my fridge a long time ago. Here is what was wrong on mine. Debris had clogged up around the fan blades to the point where the very small motor that runs the fan was not powerful enough to make the fan turn. When this happens the compressor has to work harder and harder until it finally shut down on safety cutout. I had to open the back of the fridge and clean up the fan blades, [ took the opportunity to put a small amount of oil on the fan shaft too, my Norge fridge is now over 50 years old.]

I would recommend you adjusting the temperature to a lower setting to see if that would start your compressor to cool. If that is not successful I would contact a professional to come and properly diagnose your appliance. It could be that the power outage shorted the main control board or relay. Their is a fan circulating air through out the unit. If this fan is not working you will experience what you have discribed.

First make sure there is power to the plug at the wall. If not check the breaker. If power at the plug, the power outage could have been associated with a power surge that killed your refrig.
