Thank you so much! I knew it would be something simple like that. The symbols on this range are not that straightforward. It's hard to tell between the timer and the clock symbols. I now know that the " " : " " is the clock!!! lol

I can set the clock on my range but when I open the oven door the clock goes back to blinking 12:00 and I have to set it all over again. The clock does not seem to stay set.

If you could send me a picture of the control I can show how to set the clock for sure. Usually on frigidaire you will hold down on the clock button (may be a picture of a clock) until it blinks and use the up and down arrow buttons to change the time. When the time is set hit the clock button again.

I appreciate your inquiry, Stephanie Givan!

From what you are describing it sounds like a possible short with your breaker box or issue with your terminal block within your Frigidaire range. I would recommend reaching out to a professional technician for a proper diagnosis to be completed. The technician will have the correct tools to check for any electrical issues within the range to make sure the correct component is being replaced. This will help avoid any unnecessary part purchases. -Matt

How to reset clock when daylight savings ends?

Hello Fran Addington, thanks for your post!
I understand that you are having difficulty setting the time on your Frigidaire range. With some ranges once you press "Clock" the time is actually set using the keypad with the numbers. I would attempt to use the keypad. If that does not help correct the issue could you please provide me with your model number? Typically, you can locate the model number on the bottom panel behind the drawer. I look forward to assisting you further. -Matt

Hi Friend, this is Z. Thank you for your post!

Based on the symptoms you are describing, it appears your Frigidaire range is possibly experiencing a potential wiring failure or a communication problem with the EOC (Electronic Oven Control). Try unplugging your range or flipping the household circuit breaker off first. It is good to wait approximately ten minutes and then turn on your range. If the issue continues, then I recommend contacting a professional to make a precise diagnosis.

Left front range top burner temerture control issues

Good Morning Friend,

I understand that you are having trouble with the left front burner on your Frigidaire range, model# FEF355. I see that the burner heats up to a glowing red hot temperature, no matter what you set the dial to. I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your homes circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes.

When power is restored, the first thing you will need to do is set the clock. You will do this by pressing the "Clock" button, then within 5 seconds press and hold the up or down arrows until the correct time of day appears.

Once you have set the time, turn on the left front burner, on the lowest setting. If the burner is still glowing red hot, I suggest contacting your local authorized technician for further assistance. They will be able to diagnose your range and determine what is causing the burner to glow red hot on all settings. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

Clock dispplay not displaying

Hello jenniferp702 - Try resetting the unit by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately two minutes and turn on the range. Attempt setting the clock, if it is ineffective then I would suggest contacting a professional to move forward accurately. The range may possibly have a faulty wiring or a communication issue with the EOC.
