You may be able to find the PC Connect cable for your Sharp Camcorder Model VL-SD2OU at an electronics store or online retailer that specializes in video and camera equipment. You can also try contacting Sharp directly to see if they have the cable in stock or if they can suggest a retailer that carries it. Alternatively, you may be able to use a generic USB cable to connect your camcorder to your computer, depending on the capabilities of your camcorder and computer.
Keep in mind that you may need to install any necessary software or drivers on your computer before you will be able to access the video files on your camcorder

chissis ground is just simply the car body metal, not metal that moves like car seat. drill a hole smaller than your screw and the drive the screw into it with a lug connected to your wiring

If you have the disc that came with the camera install it on the computer. It should then be recognized. If not then click here and it will take you to the website to download the drivers.

Click on where it says software and drivers, then enter just the model of your camera (VL-Z5E). After that it should be all gravy.
