The drive needs the proper hardware installed,in manager on device ,right click the ? , then left click propertys , select update driver it will ask for permission to install , click yes, takes about 2 minits ( or) ,go to microsoft.com ,look for downloads,(type) drivers, your model, click search ,pick your drivers from list and download and install

try this clik on start then right click on computer select manage then select device manager on the window that comes up then see if there is a small yellow exclamation mark next to disk drives if there is open the disk drives by clicking on the small "+" sign on left of it if your drive is there right click on the drive select uninstall then close window and restart the pc windows should detect the drive when it restarts and install the drivers on it again then when reinstalled open device manager again and see if everything is ok meaning no yellow exclamation marks next it..hope this helps

Hey there neha patne, based on the info given, my best guess is that your boot sequence is not placing your harddrive as your primary boot device. While you are in the setup screen (via F2), locate the boot sequence line and enter. Change setting to place harddrive as primary boot device, disabling the other options and not leaving it as an auto-detect setting. Save changes and reboot. Also please ensure there are no media in the drives or unnecessary peripherals plugged in while booting up. I hope this helps. Good Luck.
