Frigidaire microwave ffmv164lsa constant beeping, with little symbol to the top left hand side of the clock displaying with the beep. Keypad not responding to presses. Unplugged the unit the problem remains the same.

The symbol at the top left hand side of your display could be child lock symbol or vent symbol. If it is the child lock you should be able to press and hold the stop/cancel button down for 3 seconds to release the child lock.
