Try holding both buttons down while you turn on the machine - hold down till they stop flashing, usually 2 - 5 seconds. This resets the machine to its original factory settings.

Also, if you have an in sink garbage disposal, don't waste the hot vinegar.  Pour it into the disposal, turning the unit on as you pour, off when you're done.  The vinegar is mildly acidic and will disinfect the disposal unit.

SOURCE: Hi, My Saeco Magic Deluxe has been in storage for

Your
problem you describe is frequent when you leave the machine unused for long
time. The reason is due to the fact that the water that were in the machine
have been dry out and the scale had create a small layer which have make some
parts to stuck.

In your
case the propel inside the volumetric dozer part number 5 or 26 at page 4 to
the parts diagram at the link below have been stuck.

http://www.partsguru.com/user/MDL_5.pdf

This propel
is rotating inside the volumetric dozer and with the sense of a magnet attached
to this propel the machine counts the rounds have been made so the volume of
water pass through it. So this propel is stacking or partially stacking thus it
loose the counting of the water passing through it thus it can leave much more
water for every coffee.

The
solution is first to perform de-scale for a couple of times one perform each
day and try to leave the solution inside the machine for about 30 minutes and then
flash it out with fresh water. If you do the de-scale for three days and the
problem insist then you need to disassemble the machine and manually de-scale
the volumetric dozer. The dozer is composed from the upper part and lower part
and inside is the propel. If you turn the top and bottom part in opposite direction
the dozer will open like a shell and inside you will find the rotating propel.
Clean very well with a brush so the propel rotates freely. Assemble the dozer
back and try the machine without the side panels to be sure that everything works
normal again. If by any chance you still have the problem (this case is only
one in thousands) just replace the dozer with a new one.

There is also
one in 100 thousands that the electronic board is bad and cannot receive the
pulses from the dozer and in this case you need to replace the electronic board
but as we mention this is less possible.

SOURCE: After descaling le Cube two flashing buttons won't stop so can't

I had the same issue. This is what a did:
Turn off the machine
Remove the tray/container and leave it outside
Turn on the machine and this time the power button should be flashing (preheating) then hold both cup buttons for 3 sec and it will be back to normal opertion....
For some reason the sensor needs to read that the tray/container is out of the machine...

SOURCE: My brewer will not brew

There isn't much you can do with the machines other than descale them. They are very difficult to take apart and work on, since they are manufactured with locking plastic tabs that have to be broken to get them apart, unless one has special tools, which I haven't been able to find. If you can get it apart, you may see the clogged water hose, and be able to replace it, but it's sure not easy.
If the machine is still under warranty, enforce it.
Wish I had better news, but these machines are not made to be easily serviced.

Have cuisinart ss10 coffee maker I have descaled with 2 gallons of white vinegar and the descale light wonā€™t go out. How do I get it cleaned ?

I recently had the problem of the dreaded "de-scale" message coming up on my coffee maker. After descaling my coffee maker 3 times, the "de-scale" message wouldn't go away. I called the Customer Service number and was told to unplug the coffee maker for an hour and that should re-set the machine. I did that and still the de-scale message remained. Another phone call and another customer service representative and I was told to hold down the Hot Water and Rinse buttons together. I placed a large mug and hit the buttons. There was a good bit of water that came through but IT WORKED! The coffee maker is as clean as can be and working very well. I suggested to the Customer Service Representative that Cuisinart should include this in the instruction and troubleshooting section. But I doubt that will happen. Sad that the web site info is not updated. Wanted to share my experience so it might help others frustrated by this issue.

How to reset keurig b40

1. There is some confusion over models. I've seen "B40" models and instructions with only one size cup button, both labeled B40. I own one stamped "B40" on the bottom, and it has two buttons -- small and large. FWIW, small = 8 oz, large = 10 oz.

2. These reset instructions from another site seemed to do something
What to Do If Your Keurig Won Brew Cup Barista

So.. this is what I did that worked for mine: 1) Hold down Auto-Off and LARGE cup at same time. (all lights should hold steady ON) 2) press SMALL cup while still holding Auto-Off and LARGE cup 3) Release all three, press LARGE cup again.. all lights should go off. 4) Unplug for about 5 - 10 second, plug back in. SHOULD WORK!

3. On *_my_* B40, remove the K-cup, close the door, fill the reservoir. Unplug and replug the B40. All lights should be off.

Pressing "Auto Off" and "Large Cup" together will turn on 3 lights (Heating, Add Water, Power) for about 3 seconds. Doesn't matter how long the buttons are pressed or what order they are released.

I tried lots of add-on combinations: e.g. press button x, press x multiple times, press x while lights are still on, press x after lights are off, press buttons x and y together, press x then y, press x and/or y while still holding Auto and Large, release Auto but not Large and press x, etc.

Nothing gave any confirmation that a reset was accepted. All lights always turned off after 3 seconds. Maybe Reset is only 1 step, i.e. Auto+Large together?

Red de scaling light won't shut off

Removing the red descaling light is simple.
1. Fill reservoir with half vinegar and half water (no need for the special descaling product from Tassimo).
2. Turn on machine.
3. Insert yellow cleaning disc found in back of machine.
4. This is where most people have the their problem...You must hold the start button for 3 to 5 seconds for the descaling program to start. Both green and red light will flash.
5. Once started, use a large cup to catch the output of water.
6. The machine will cycle through the descaling program in about 30 to 45 minutes. Be paitent!!!
7. Once completed, run many cups of plain water through the system to remove the vinegar taste.
8. Red light problem is solved.

Hope this works for you.

Too little volume

Hi
Try reprogramming the machine. Push and hold the button for the coffee you want, but hold it all the way through the process. Don't release the button until you get the amount of coffee you want for that button, then release the button. That should get you the same amount next time. You can do this for each coffee button.

Red descale light is on

I use distilled white vinegar, but you can use specialized coffee cleaners with this model:

Descaling
Descaling 11
Descale your Tassimo machine every three months to keep it
operating at full potential.
1
Descaling products are widely available from stores selling coffeemakers and espresso
machines. Only use a product intended for descaling. Mix the descaling product
directly in the water container, following the instructions provided on the descaling
packaging. Replace the water container on the machine.
2 Place a large cup or mug on the cup stand, insert the cleaning disc, bar code down,
and close the brew mechanism. When the AUTO light illuminates, press and release
the start/stop button. The brew cycle will fill the machine with descaling solution. Empty
the cup and let the machine stand for 15 minutes.
3 Open the brew mechanism and close it again, leaving the cleaning disc in place.
When the AUTO light illuminates, press and release the start/stop button. When the
machine stops running, empty the cup, and let the machine stand for 15 minutes.
Repeat this step two more times for maximum descaling effectiveness. Discard the
remaining descaling agent from the water container, rinse it thoroughly and refill
with fresh, cold water.
4 Open and close the brew mechanism again, leaving the cleaning disc in place.
When the AUTO light illuminates, press and hold the start/stop button to flush water
through the machine. The MANUAL light will flash. When the cup is full, release the
start/stop button, empty the cup, and replace it on the cup stand.
5 Repeat step 4, flushing clean water through the machine in the same manner and
emptying the cup as it fills. To ensure that all the descaling solution is completely rinsed
away, flush two full water containers through the machine before using it again.

Stops Mid Brew Cycle - Saeco Magic De Luxe

Hi
I would try to reprogram the button. Push and hold the button. Keep it held down while it is grinding. Don't release the button until you have the desired amount in your cup for that button. When you do, Then release the button. See if that doesn't clear the problem.
