SOURCE: Why is there no reception after running autoscan?

Ensure your tv is in the mode of broadcast in you area...if local broadcasting is in digital ensure the tv is set to digital. Ensure that the aerial/antenna is fully working and correctly connected. You can check this by attaching another tv to it.
Try another autotune after the above has been carried out.
If it does not work try a reset and another retune, ...using your owner's documentation ensure that the setup is followed as specified.
Disconnect all other peripherals from the tv during this procedure.
If the worst has happened the tuner may need to be corrected. It does not sound as though there is anything makorly wrong.....hopefully

You may be required to have a cable box depending on your provider to get higher channels. Contact your service provider for assistance.

TV will not scroll through the channels. I have to enter each channel manually

If you have a cable box from the cable company you may have to autoscan the channels first look in the instruction book for autoscan channels

Have a curtis tv , trying to run autoscan, it runs, but it doesn't locate any channels. I have a comcast converter box also. Not sure why autoscan isn't working. Or do I have to set up my comcast...

For the auto scan to detect there must be channels present on the CABLE that is connected to the RF input- TUNER INPUT- of the TV.
So check with your cable operator for the channels and you can connect. however if you are using a digital box then the channels are memorised on the box as only the output of the box is connect to the video/audiop inputs of the TV. if so select line in/video 1/2.

Connect the TV to external antenna or cable and do the following ot autoscan channels. If it autoscans, and doesn't store any stations in its memory, the memory IC has damaged and should be replaced with same type and number. Wait till autoscan completes and see whether the first channel receve will comes displayed or not. It will take some time to complete. the procedure is:

From Menu Press Vol [+/-] then Channel [UP/DOWN] buttons to find CHANNEL AUTOSCAN.
Press Volume [+/-] button, channels will be scaned automatically. OK

My set top box will no longer pick up certain channels such as itv and channel 4 stations !!

My set top box has setup menu, channels, autoscan to scan for channels. They changed some of the channels here after the original switch to digital, and a fresh autoscan was needed to again find the channels that moved. See if your box has autoscan for channels, and do it.

AV 35750 no images only sound with cable, images & sound with DVD

Make sure the cable is on when you autoscan. If the autoscan doesn't see it,manually inputing won't get you there. Make sure you have the correct band selected when you autoscan.
