Remote interacting with TV

I have bought a Panasonic DMR-EX75 and the TV functions on the remote control (Channel & Volume controls) will not work with my Samsung TV (LA40M61B) even though the manual says it will. The codes 12, 17 & 18 from the manual do not work. What is the solution?

According to my manual the codes for Samsung TVs are 31, 32 or 43.

Press and hold the TV on and off switch button.
Enter the two-digit code for your television set (while holding the TV power on the remote)

My Onkyo DR90 DVD Remote Will Not Operate Components

Your Onkyo DR90 DVD Receiver remote control does not have universal remote functions, and cannot be (easily) programmed to control a Panasonic DMR ES15. Your DR90 remote does have a limited learning function, but it is designed to learn the codes from your TV's remote to control the TV. Only the following buttons are programmable by the TV Learning function:

I hope that helps.

Using remote control on philips tv

Unfortunately, you can't.
The remote controller does have buttons on it to adjust a TV but these will only work with a Panasonic TV. Because your Phillips control codes are different, and the remote controller does not allow its send code to be adjusted, they won't talk to each other. The only thing you can do is get a universal remote and program it for both, or buy a Panasonic TV.

Blu-ray remote keeps triggering DVD recorder (and vice-versa)

You can "re-tune" your EX75 and its remote control by following the instructions on page 52 of the manual. This explains how to change the mode of the remote control. In short, you press the FUNCTIONS button on your remote control, get into the setup menu and select "others". The remote control entry is at the top of the list. You can change the setting from here.
