Why doesThe light does not go on when the left door opens and neither do any of the settings light up?

Make sure the dip switches on the door opener match the dip splotch setting In the motor. But first check to see if the electric safety eye at the bottom of the door and the reflected are clear and lined up.

a safety is engaged. do the lights on the motor blink when it attempts to close. check the lights on the safety eyes at the bottom right and left of the door tracks. check the down pressure setting. replace the circuit board if it is a wiring issue

Most likely you have a broken drive belt. Replace the belt and idler guide wheel at the same time.

I think the adjustment mode is on.

Glen you keep adjusting but before that try to find this unusual problem. On its own, doesthe freezer door close witha thud? If not it needs adjustment otherwise other problems could surface.

There's a little knob on the left of the steering wheel. This knob can actually be pushed in and out. It turns to the left and right also, and can be turned off. I believe you turn it clockwise to turn the switch on for the lights to go on when you open the door.

Look in your owners manual if manual settings, if auto settings on the steering wheel, using the upper left button scroll through selections until you see settings. It gives you options as far as time you would like the interior lights to stay on, or if you want them off. Sounds like the obvious fix to me. If not, check fuse bank under hood, left side, or on panel located on left side of dash panel when you open the door. The diagram will tell you which one to look at.

Is the overhead interior light switch turned off with the effect that when the doors are opened the interior light doesn't come on. Alter the switch setting and open the door: if the interior light comes on then you should see the warning light come on if the vehicle lights are left on. Failing that it's likely to be a faulty doorswitch or the cable and connector to the doorswitch has become detached. Try unscrewing the doorswitch and withdrawing it from the vehicle body and check that the wire is still connected. Check using a multimeter that the switch operates electrically when open and closed. Replace or repair as appropriate.
