SOURCE: hp1320 will not print multiple copies

It seems to be an issue with the printer drivers on the computer,You need to check for any
queued documents,if they are there,if yes, delete them,if not go ahead and unintsall the printer drivers from the controlpanel>printers and faxes and then restart your computer and then try a plug and play if its a USB printer or if its a network printer check for the ip
address on the printer as well as the computer, they shuld be the same on both or it will not work, this should resolve your concern.

if you want a technician to do the entire troubleshooting for you.You may get in touch with one of the techbuddies, they offer free technical support for such issues.

SOURCE: line on copy but not on print from computer

Hello,

The problem you are having is either ink, correction fluid or something has stuck on the scanner pickup image sensor. To clear the material you will need to first open the machine to get to the sensor. To do this pull the control panel forward, it will open just a bit where you load the paper to be sent. If you look down from the top you will see the sensor glass. Use a paper towel sprayed with window clearer. You may have to gently scrub the glass to remove the blockage. You may even be able to see what is blocking the image sensor. After cleaning the glass let it dry for a few minutes before you close it and try copying or faxing.

I hope this helps, if so please rate our solution.

FAILS TO COPY FROM A SCAN

Hi

Scanning takes an image on a document on the scanner's platten and converts it to a digital file format stored on your computer.

Copying is scanning + printing.

To copy, you do not need to separately scan first and then print. Just select how many copies you need on the number pad, then press either the Black or the Colour COPY buttons on the scanner (or open the printer's/scanner's software and click on COPY), while it's connected to the computer and the document will automatically be scanned and printed (copied).

I hope this helps.

What button to press to copy a document ?

If you are putting a document into the printer and want to make a copy of it, press the key that says "copy" on the printers keyboard. Then choose the number of copies you want to make and press the "ok" or "enter" key on the keyboard of the printer.

If the document you wish to make a copy of is located in your computer and you dont have a copy of it to place in your printer - then you need to print the document. Not copy the document. Copy means make another one. You can't copy something that you dont have in your hands. Understand? To print a document that you dont have in your hands, find it on your computer. When you find the document you want to print on the computer, click on "file" in the upper left side corner of your computer screen and slide down to "print" and click on it. Then click on "ok" on the next screen to start printing your document.

If there is no "file" command in the upper left corner of your computer screen when you have the document that you want to print open on the computer - try right clicking with the button on the right side of your mouse in the center of the document and find the "print" command on the drop down list and click on it. Then click on "ok" on the next screen and this will start the printing of your document.

Hope this helps? Good luck!

How to print a regular document from Microsoft Word, Excel.

Instead of pressing the start button to print, you need to press the small ON/OFF button. The start button works to copy/scan. But to print, you will need to turn the printer on first. Once the printer is on, the computer should recognize it fine and allow you to print from your applications.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO GET A TEST PRINT OR SCAN TEST WITHOUT THE X1180 BEING CONNECTED TO A PC?

No, if you print or scan, you need always to store the file on a computer, and if you use copy function, you still need the computer, as copy function allowed on this printer is only Colour Copying with PC .

This printer cannot print, scan or copy if it is not connected to a computer.
