SOURCE: Hi I have a vhf digitech AM-4071 wireless microphone system and the problem is that both microphones are going only through one RF, on the transmitter. The second mic goes but its not receiving on tr

You need to check that they are both operating on different channels there should be a switch or POT on the microphone and possibly one on the reciever. If they are static or preset you need to swap one for the other channel. Some (usualy cheap) mics have a preset or static channel often ch-A and ch-B, there should be one of each in the box. If you bought the extra body packs they will also come with the preset channels.

Short in wire at plug, cant take plug apart

The mic will disconnect from the transmitter. Simply push the black button and pull outward. Then, the black part of the connector unscrews from the silver part of the connector in order to get at the guts of the connector.

Audio-Technica freeway 200 Series VHF Wireless System - I had problems connecting the wireless system with a quarter inch to a xlr. The sound system made a very loud disturbance sound. What cable do I use...

XLR connectors are a two-wire plus ground system. Using a 1/4 inch to XLR adapter may not connect the wires correctly to your sound system input.

The A-T Freeway 200 Series has a 1/4" output jack. This would indicate a line level. A cable to connect the tip of the 1/4" jack to pin 2 of the XLR and the sleeve of the 1/4" jack to pins 1 and 3 of the XLR should work. The XLR should be plugged into a device that accepts line level.

Ideally, you should plug the 1/4" into a 1/4" or RCA jack that is designed for line levels.

I tugged on the cord that enters the left earphone slightly. The headset buzzed and now the mic no longer works. What should i do?

This gadgets are susceptible for damaging specially if we carelessly mishandle it. Chances are the wire inside that serve as a means to send signal is loss because of possible cut of wire. You can open it and re-solder it with care or take it to the repair shop if cannot manage it or better buy a new one.

I have an SM58 wireless that has intermitant problems. I plan to change it to a wired microphone. I need to know what wires to solder to what connections on the bottom of the head. There is a center...

I don't know which ring is which, but it's actually:

+audio
Ground
5 volts bias.

The audio coming off the wireless cartridge is unbalanced. Also, it might be the wrong impedance to use as a wired mic.

Wireless Microphone low volume

The PGX1 bodypack has a switch on the side to set the gain. Make certain that switch is in the "mic" position. Otherwise, simply turn up the volume on your mixer.

I have a brand new naxa professional dual wireless microphone system, but if won't work

If it is the NAXA NX-982 wireless system, they will work fine wired, but odds are they won't work at all wirelesssly. This is due to the positive battery tab in the body of the microphone is not dimpled deeply enough to actually contact the top of the battery. A pair of needle nose pliers or a screwdriver to tweak the tab down a little further so that contact is made fixed both microphones.
