I HAVE A SPOT ON MY FLAT SCREEN.IT'S CLOUDY BLACK SPOT.ALMOST LOOKS LIKE BLACK PAINT WASHED OUT WITH WATER.I THINK MY GRANDCHILD SPRAYED TV SCREEN WITH WATER BOTTLE.CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT TO DO
You could try to let the water dry out (it may have already), and hopefully the circles may go away or be less visible. The problem may get worse if the water has damaged a board inside the TV. For the next few days, I would not leave the TV plugged in if it is not being watched. I hope this information has helped you. Good Luck.
Most likely the cause would be a blocked screen entering the pump. There is a small "shredder" spring immediately in front of it which shreds soft food waste. Many times plastic wrap gets into the unit and will block the round holes in that screen, thereby reducing water supply to the pump. Low supply means loss of pressure and that means no water to top wash arm. Access is done by removing the large white coarse filter, located behind the lower wash arm, lifting the oval plastic screen just below that and reaching in to the bottom reservoir. BE CAREFUL OF GLASS AND OTHER SHARPS! Gently clean out that area and feel for the final round screen that leads to the pump. This is the one that gets blocked with debris. Some can be "scrubbed" with an old toothbrush, but if there is plastic wrap in it, you will have to scrape it with fingernails and pick it out. Another, more time consuming way, is to remove the entire motor pump assembly and dismantle it.
Good luck. Let us know if it helped.
I just had my caps replaced and after the tech put it back together there was a spot. He tok the screen off and cleaned the mirrors around the bulb and the large mirrors(they were reaaaalllllly dirty. It did brighten up the picture and it looks crisper, oh and the spot was gone.
P.S.. Like nettiser stated. If it's unde warrenty have them do it. If you drop something "you will be pissed" if you don't !
Ok, it sounds like you just have a bad connection either at the inverter end (bottom of screen) ot the cable that goes to the top behind the screen has worked loose. To fix this, you might have to remove the lid from the base of the laptop, but i find that unscrewing the bezel (plastic that surrounds the screen) and removing the plastic and re-seating the connections again, you have to be carefull though as the ribbon cable behind the screen is fragile.
Thanks for your kind words and suggestions.., It turned out,, That after 12 days it finally cleared totally away and I now have no spots., or black spots. It started to disappear after a couple of days but took more than 10 days to appear to be evaporating..
