If you can hear full water flow into the appliance then it could be that the pressure switch is faulty, the pressure tube has a hole in it or has disconnected from the switch. IE or "inlet error" means that the appliance has failed to register the water level after a predetermined time.

SOURCE: Water Pressure - FH Error

Check first the filters on the inlet water line. Then, if problem still exist - check that the inlet water valve works(it is an electromagnet valve, located at the pipe's entrance to the machine)). If it doesn't work, test that it get power. In case it get power and doesn't work - You can easily open the valve and clean it (from scale or other dirt). Be aware you should disconnect the power cable from machine before doing it !!!! Check as well for valve's coil resistance. In case you have no resistance measurement - you should replace it for a new one. Good luck

Your cold water celenoid has gone out. There is no way to just replace the cold itself, So you have to buy the whole water valve. That will fix ya up!

SOURCE: Washer takes about an hour to fill halfway with water

Check the solenoids on the water inlet valve for continuity using a multimeter or ohmmeter. A lack of continuity indicates a faulty solenoid. I will attach a photo for reference. Hope this helped and best wishes.

Whirlpool duet steam washer displaying F 20 error code during wash cycle. Water seems to be flowing just fine. I've unplugged it several times to clear the code but it's not working.

The F20 error code on a Whirlpool Duet Steam Washer typically indicates a water inlet problem. It means the washer is not getting enough water to continue the wash cycle. This can be due to several reasons, even if it seems like water is flowing fine at first glance. Here are steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:
  1. Check Water Supply Hoses:
    • Ensure both the hot and cold water faucets are fully open.
    • Inspect the water inlet hoses for kinks, bends, or twists that could restrict water flow. Straighten out any issues you find.
    • Turn off the water supply, disconnect the hoses from the back of the washer, and check that the filter screens inside the water inlet valve are not clogged with debris. Clean them carefully if needed.
  2. Water Pressure:
    • The washer requires a certain amount of water pressure to function correctly. Low household water pressure can lead to insufficient water flow to the washer. Make sure your home's water pressure is within the washer's required range.
  3. Check for Siphoning:
    • Make sure the drain hose is correctly installed. The end of the hose should not be too far down the standpipe, and there should be an air gap to prevent siphoning.
  4. Inlet Valves:
    • If the water hoses and screens are clear, there might be an issue with the water inlet valves themselves. They might not be opening fully due to electrical issues or mechanical failure.
    • The inlet valves can be tested with a multimeter for continuity to ensure they are functioning correctly. If they lack continuity, they need to be replaced.
  5. Flow Meter:
    • Some Whirlpool Duet models have a flow meter that measures the amount of water entering the washer. If this component malfunctions, it could mistakenly signal that there's not enough water, even when there is.
    • Diagnosing a flow meter requires some technical knowledge and a service manual for your specific model.
  6. Pressure Switch:
    • The washer uses a pressure switch to monitor the water level. If there's an issue with this switch or the hose connected to it, the washer might incorrectly interpret the problem as insufficient water flow.
    • Check the pressure switch and the hose for any blockage, disconnection, or damage.
  7. Reset the Washer:
    • Since unplugging the washer hasn't cleared the error, after checking the above, try to reset the control board by unplugging the washer for about 5 minutes, then plugging it back in.
If after trying these steps the F20 error persists, it may be time to consult the manual for more specific troubleshooting steps for your model or contact a professional appliance repair service. Sometimes, the problem could be related to the washer's electronic control board or other components that require professional diagnosis and repair.

What is error IE in LG FR1352NCZ washing machine? TIA

This IE error or fault code indicates that the washer is not filling with water. Check to be sure the water supply valves are open. Also, check to be sure the water supply hoses aren't kinked or clogged. Next, remove the hoses from the washing machine and run water into a bucket to test the pressure and flow of the water. If all of these check out and you have good water pressure and flow to the machine, you should replace the water inlet valve.

HOW DO I STARTS MY WASHING MACHINE AGAIN CAUSE IT ALWAYS `IE` ERROR EVEN I ALREADY CLEAN THE FILTER,CHECK HOSE,THIS ERROR HAPPENS WHEN SOMEONE USE IT MANUAL WHEN NO WATER IN SERVICE,I MEAN HE MANUALLY

The IE or E1 error or fault code indicates that the washer is not filling with water. Check to be sure the water supply valves are open. Also, check to be sure the water supply hoses aren't kinked or clogged. Next, remove the hoses from the washing machine and run water into a bucket to test the pressure and flow of the water. If all of these check out and you have good water pressure and flow to the machine, you should replace the water inlet valve
If you are trying to use the machine manually, there needs to be enough water in the machine to tell the level sensor when to switch off the water inlet solenoid valve. Failing this, the machine will only show IE (Inlet Error) and refuse to work.

My washer is giving me an F and H error code and stops mid cycle

The FH code indicates a problem with the incoming water. Press Pause/Cancel twice to clear the error. It could be water not coming into the washer or the water doesn't reach the desired level after 8 minutes of incoming water.

First check that your water valves are open and that the hoses aren't kinked. Next make sure that the incoming water isn't being siphoned directly into the drain. (This happens when the outlet hose is positioned in the drain stack to be lower than the water level of the washer.)

Turn off the water valves and disconnect the water hoses. Check if the incoming water filters are clogged. Also check that the hoses are undamaged. There are some anti-flood hoses that seal themselves if they detect a leak. Replace the hoses if you suspect this problem.

The next things to check are the inlet valve and the pressure switch hose. This needs to be connected to the tub and the pressure switch. Check that the wiring between several parts (the inlet valve, pressure switch, drain pump and flow meter) and the central control unit. Next check the pressure switch and the flow meter themselves. Also check the CCU unit.

Replace any faulty items.

I hope this helps.

Kenmore Elite model #110 27082601

In reference to the LF error code on your Kenmore Washer

When your washer displays error LF , it is due to low water pressure, slow or continuous fill.All washers are designed to operate with a water supply pressure of 20-100 PSI. When the pressure drops below 20 PSI the washer can have the following problems;

* Slow Fill- low water pressure reduces the speed at which water flows into the machine.
o Verify the pressure at all other water sources in the house (i.e. sinks, showers, etc..). If you find other places where the pressure is low, the problem is not with the machine but with the water supply.
* Continuous Fill- The valve may not fully seat under 20 PSI which would allow for a constant flow even when the machine isn't supposed to be filling.
o Contact the water company to verify the pressure being supplied to the house
* Error Codes- LF for long fill or FH for no water detected.
o A plumber may need to be consulted if the pressure is found to be too low.
