DE error means that there is a fault with either the door lock or main pcb.

SOURCE: LG Intellowasher 7kg WD-14125RD shows DE error

DE is for a door lock error and you will need to replace the lock. Here is the part to order.

LG Intellowasher WD-8026C having problems with the door latch, I keep getting an error message. Latch appears not to be connecting and locking the door. to start the machine.

The DE error or fault code indicates that the door is not latching properly. Check the lid or door operation to be sure it's not binding and that the door alignment is correct. Also, check the door/lid hinges to be sure they're not binding. Finally, make sure the door catch is in place and not broken. You may need to replace the door hook/catch or the door lock assembly

When you see the DE error code, it means a "door error". This is a sign that either the door is not shutting, locking or opening. Most of the time, this is a simple fix and service is probably not needed. Check for something stuck or lodged in door. Check door gasket. Check door latch.

My on screen display has gone small

What do you mean has gone small? You mean your icons are smaller?

Try changing your screen resolution. Right Click on an open space on the desktop and select Properties. When the Display Properties window opens select the Appearance tab. Look down at the bottom and you can make sure your Font Size is Normal, if not change it to Normal. Click the Settings tab and change your screen resolution. The higher the resolution, the smaller the icons. Size 1024x768 is what most people use.

You can also get to the display properties to perform the steps above by clicking Start/Control Panel or Start/Settings/Control Panel. Look for Display or Appearance and Personalization. Open it and the display properties window will open.

If you are using Windows 7 you can also just click Start and in the search box type Screen Resolution. Look up at the top for the search results and click on Screen Resolution.

If you can't get it back to the way it was you can try doing a System Restore. System Restore allows you to select a Restore Point (date and time) before you started having problems. So if you display went small yesterday, then select a restore point before yesterday.

System Restore does not delete your data, documents, music, pictures, videos or programs (unless the program was installed after the restore point you selected). To start System Restore click Start/Program/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore then select a data and time before you started having the issue.

If you are using Windows 7 you can just click Start then in the search box type System Restore and look up at the returned search results and select System Restore.

System Recovery on the other hand deletes everything and sets your system back to when your first purchased it.

What does "PE" error message

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
LG's 'PE' refers to '(water) Pressure Error'
If you have checked that the hot and cold water taps are turned on fully and the hoses are not kinked or squashed at the back, it is worth while checking both the hot and cold water inlet filters. Turn the taps off and remove both hoses at the washer end. Inside each inlet port there is normally a little filter which should just slide out. Clean if necessary and replace each one and the hoses. If after turning the taps back on there is no improvement, the problem is symptomatic of a malfunctioning hot or cold water control valve. Sorry but it needs a service call and a check that it isn't the control PCB ;-0(
If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck,
John C

Washing Machine stops in cycle.

The ECU seems bad.
Look for the service manual inside and do the diagnostic test to see what is wrong.

My LG intellowasher DD WM1480 FDH washer displays DE (door open) and refuses to start, if I repeatedly open and close door sometimes it will start or the door will lock and it still doesnt start.

I have this problem too for my LG Intellowasher. I suspect it is because you're selecting "Rinse Hold" from the options. Try turning the power off and washing again on another setting to see if this resolves the issue.
