My ideapad says the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped. How do I fix this?

1. Go to MENU
2. Go to SETTINGS
3. Go to APPS
4. Look for DOWNLOAD MANAGER under ALL
5. Disable it then enable it

Menu-> Settings-> Apps-> All-> Download Manager (Disable then enable)

Or you can try: settings ----> application manager ----> all ----> click the bottom left touch button and select reset apps (this will not erase the apps) this will only restore the apps into its fixed state

Message keeps popping up....

Frequently, this happens do to a problem with your contacts or calender. It's a problem with syncing those items with your Google account or PC. If the problem is with one of these, you should try to manually synch the calender and contacts. (Go to Settings > Accounts & Sync > (Go to Gmail account). You'll see the option to sync the Calender, Contacts and Gmail. Select each one to manually attempt to sync the files. Determine which item is providing the error; you will need to clear the data from the problem application. (Note: back up your contacts first. Use the People > Menu > Import/Export > Export to SD card option if you can.)

Next un-check the sync option for the problem app (calender or contacts) under the Google Account > Accounts. Then go to Settings > Apps > Manage Apps > All and clear the data and cache for the problem app. (The contacts may be under the Running list.) Then re-enable the sync feature. If the calender is causing the error, you may need to erase and re-create your recurring item.

For some scrolling down to the Google Frameworks service in the Manage App > Downloads (or Running) menu then clearing that data. Then chose the "force stop" works to fix the problem. (However, this can put your cell phone into a factory reset state and may cause other problems.)

You will need to turn the cell phone off and back on before re-enabling the sync.

I hope this helps.
