I had a similar problem with my Honeywell thermostat as well. Turns out it was a combo of me setting it up wrong and it's "Smart Response Technology" I turned off the smart response and setup my thermostat again and made sure it was set to a gas furnace.

Could be improperly installed (wrong wiring) or the furnace/heater portion of your central air/heat isn't turning on.

Thermostats don't actually blow anything, the heating system might though. Check the breakers for your heat system, then call a heating specialist. They're really not that expensive.

My Honeywell thermostat isnt keeping my house cool even though the temp is set to 69. Currently 90 degrees in here

Its probably not the thermostat. The air conditioner may be stuck on heating mode. If its a reverse cycle, the reversing valve may be jammed so even when the thermostat is calling for cold air, it stays on heat. If the machine is on heating mode, it should be blowing cold air out of the outdoor unit of the air con. If its on cooling mode, the outdoor should be blowing hot air.

Honeywell thermostats keep turning off and on and blowing cold air

Need to know the type of heat you have. If it is an air to air heat pump, with this cold weather, you are not going to get much heat out of it. It will feel cool (a little higher than room temperature). If the temps outside stay below 25 degrees, then switch it to Auxillary (Emergency ) heat.

My honeywell heater thermostat is only blowing cold air, there is no heat blowing regardless of setting. how can i fix it? it won't even turn off.

the wiring for thermostats are color coded. R(red)power, Y(yellow)cooling, G(green)common, W(white)heating. O(orange), E(emergency)heat. Make sure that you have the right thermostat because there is an air condition thermostat and there is a heatpump thermostat and they wire up differently.

HONEYWELL THERMOSTAT RTH100B FURNACE BLOWING COLD AIR

Chances are that the thermostat has nothing to do with the blowing of cold air. Get in front of your heating system and give us the make and model number along with any signs of blinking lights (usually a diagnostic code). It could be something simple as a plugged air filter. Or you could spend a bunch of money on a technician when you might be able to save some of that by letting us know what you have.

One honeywell to another

you need to program the thermostat for the reversing valve "O" it will tell you how to do this in the manual. you will need to chang from "O" to "B" or "B" to "O" depending on how its set.

When on AC the air blows hot, when on heat the air blows room temprature

This is a wiring issue or you have a heat pump and the reversing valve is stuck.

Heat pump that just blows cool air

is the condenser operating? what is the outdoor temperature? A heat pump is a cooling system with a reverse gear, most reversing valves which make this possible fail to the heat mode so it is not likely to be the problem. You should have either gas or electric back-up heat. If you switch to emergency heat do you get warm air? Really need to find out more to make an informed guess at your problem, the simple stupid would be is the circuit breaker to the condensing unit possibly tripped or shut off?

Heat pump thermostat replacement

It sounds like your reversing valve energizes the opposite from how you wired it at the thermostat. Check the instructions.
